Limited to 420 pairs, but the temptation to skate them was too great...

How is the fit on Rowans?
Narrow?Wide?Where?
It looks rather wide in the heel area
definitely a wide shoe all the way through but with the ankle padding and tad higher cut your ankle stays locked in really well. i forgot how good it feels to have your feet firmly planted instead of constricted inside a narrow shoe. i don't want to compare them to dunks at all but when i first put them on that's what the width reminded me of

Thanks. I already wore the sk8-hi. I guess can’t tell much wear since black midsole and cleaned them up after a few wears.

Still haven’t wore the old skool yet tho.

I did get these to skate
Reebok Workout Plus SK

What does the SK stand for? Who knows. What fucking sucks about reebok is that in a world were my wide feet can't fit any shoe properly, rebook feels like a quarter size too big. I'll start skating them in a week or so.
[close]
have you skated Workouts before? I have a couple pairs with a white sole, but they don’t grip that well and my feet slide around too much. I’ll do a crooked grind and my front foot will slide off the nose when I lock in. Wondering if you’ve noticed if the gum sole is grippier, or comparable to skate specific shoes

I skated them for the first time yesterday. I didn't really have any grip problem. The single stick ripped which was expected. The DGK reebok was a great shoe. I really wish they'd bring the back as like a workout low skate or something.

I've been eyeing an all suede black pair. The grip had me concerned too. Would love to hear more about your experience with these as you skate them.

yeah, I agree! This was just a quick snap but the colourway is off the hook with the speckle around the midsole and the purple hit on the heel and insole. Also the insole on this version has arch support which is different from pervious versions if I'm not mistaken?

the tongue and height make them tougher to slip on and off.  Def good lockdown

Those are the best colourway, still hate whoever decided to throw away my pair(looked thrashed but that's the waxed canvas).

Still have a few pairs of gravis that I rarely use but cannot let go.

Since you asked for an update, I skated my buddies mini ramp yesterday for about 2 1/2hrs. It was a pretty heavy session. And the shoes preformed great. But they are falling apart. Which make since, as they are not a skate shoe. The rubber toe isn't glued down, and the stitching is gone when so it's a little flappy. I'm gonna put some shoe goo under in the seem. I'll probably get about 2 more weeks out of them. So yeah, they skate good, but don't expect them to last, which was what I expected.

update w/ pic
after 2 sessions. shoe goo was added before the second session

roomy enough but snug if that makes sense, so pretty normal, the toe cap height reminds me of the es accel og but in a good way, probably wont start skating them yet but they seem promising already.

don't skate them, they're too nice and will look all fucked up after 1-2 sessions, that's just how leather is with abrasion

Just keep them nice until they have enough creases and have gotten dirty over time

I really really like these. I’d probably end up skating them, but maybe not right away. Also there’s something about your socks that’s throwing me off like they’re missing some normal sock feature.

Nice. That color was on for $27 at the distributor but I got the all brown ones instead for $33. Unfortunately they're too hard/thick of a cupsole for my tastes but I love how they look. Just not a lot of boardfeel. I actually sanded down the sole of mine a bunch in hopes it would help but they're still way thicker than the other cupsole kicks I skate. If you prefer a stiff shoe and boardfeel isn't a big concern they're a solid choice.

Haha, I felt like this comment because I have no trust in a man who wears shitty socks or underwear. If you don't even respect your own shit just because it's not as visible, how can I trust you're gonna do right by me in the shadows? These socks are tall and look good with the high tops I was wearing but with these shoes on it looked really odd having them all pulled up... Not sure this was better.

I'm glad your aware of shitty underwear/sock people, don't trust them...
That being said, I can't support those thin, crinkly, grampa socks you got goin' on there.
I don't think high socks look bad since it's the majority of what I wear, but them things look like they're covering some 90 year old feet with spider veins. I apologize if I've offended you.

Haha I respect this, +1 for you. Also: I agree. In my defense, they're not as thin as they look at all but I usually do wear (dressy kind) thinner or no socks in the summertime. I still need to step my game up though, obviously.
