The Palace Puig. I got the pink ones at first but decided on the whites instead, I really like them but not sure if I can get myself to skate em.

So nice. Wouldn't skate them ever

Tactics has ‘em for $69. I’d say they fit exactly TTS like Nike

2+ hours of daily street and flatground skating for 4 months would be a tall order. The kick flip area is suede, but the collar of the shoe is canvas—albeit sturdy canvas. Mixing in some lighter stuff and transition, you could probably get 3 months of daily skating if you’re ok with losing tread on the sole. The new popcush insole should keep its shape.

Hey. I find the Janoski’s are far more narrow than Vans Sk8 High—never had mid but same thing.

The Sk8 Hi has no heel lock. I have wide feet and they feel almost sloppy on me. Also, the pro soles are so thin you have to live with the inner soles provided. If you like ultra Cush you will be fine. It not  get the non pro version, which they probably don’t make much in mids.

The board feel is great and I love the style, but they are gonna be wider than you are used to.

How bout the Crocket 2? That was too narrow for me, but more similar to the Janoski’s.

honestly in your position, i’d just go for a blazer mid if you can afford it. locks your foot in really nice and i find the padding around the collar much better than the sk8 mid/hi. they’ll last longer too

Handball spezial. Nice colorway. Copped on sale on the das site a week or so ago. The insoles it came with had intense foam blocks on the arch and heel. The arch was insane. Luckily I have a pair of aloha supers so I was able to swap those insoles perfectly. I much prefer the adidas skateboarding insole.

Always loved the spezial shoes but they seem limited besides a few of the handball ones that came out.
Love that color, do they fit the same as busenitz more or less?

I’ve never had the Busenitz actually. I would say they are TTS.

I got all hyped on getting some superstars watching early Kareem footage, but when I got a pair they fit super loose, weird and boxy, and I have wide ass feet too. I swapped them for some laceless ones in hope of getting a more snug fit and 80's look but keep the puffy tongue, laced them up with some white fat laces I found and they were perfect. Feel like a pair of busenitz or something fit wise, snug and nice - definitely a hot tip for someone looking to skate a pair.

Yeah man!! Dope that you got some of those too! I’ve been skating a pair of the black with white stripes and it’s such a upgrade compared to the regular ones or even the skate ones. I’m probably gonna stock up on those soon.

Sk.A.T.A.N  What's your take on the Busenitz vintage?  I just ordered a pair and am hoping that my normal size in the pro works and I shouldn't have went .5 down due to no padding in the heel.

Converse CONS CTAS Lows with CX insole. Canvas construction with suede ollie patch.

I was hesitant to get these but succumbed to nostalgia. They're holding up great so far and the insole is actually pretty good. Miles ahead of Zoom Air, but not as good as Lunarlon. Impact protection isn't all there, but there's some arch support and my lower back isn't in pain like it was with Zoom Air.

I have a set of FP Gamechangers coming, gonna replace the CX insole with them and hopefully they'll address CX's shortcomings.

I actually haven’t got a pair yet. I have a few shoes to go through first. I know most people go half size up on the Pros but I always went TTS, I would do the same with these.

Haha that was what I was thinking too. When I started wearing them yesterday and realized how perfect they are, I got all stressed about them maybe not being available later. I think I'll stock up too..

Does anyone know if the Superstar 80's has the same shock absorption under the insole as the regular ones?

Fit tts to me, though I wish I went a half size down, just out of heel slippage paranoia (not based in any reality about the shoe)

Etnies Marana, Joslin 1, Joslin 2.
NB# 440, 868, 533 V1 or V2
Es Silo. Maybe the Accel OG, but they're chunky compared to modern cupsoles.
Nike SB Dunks (but good luck lol)
DC Maswell and Kalis S

I've had good luck with most of these feeling pretty supportive but still skate well, too! Most of these can easily have an insole of choice swapped into them, too.

Sir, I'm going to politely, but firmly, ask you and your common sense to leave this establishment.
