I'm currently skating Dunk lows but I was wearing this 440 hi model beforehand.
This is the only colourway of the 440 his I've been really psyched on. Others have looked good but haven't matched this one imo. I'm starting to get dark green burnout, but still. It was hard to find this colourway in 2023 for a brand-new pair and I got lucky.
I do highly recommend these. Good flick, looks good, sole grip is good, true to size, no heel slippage, goes well with any pants, not too hard to put on like other hi-tops although I sitll used a shoehorn for comfort. Only thing is that I had to switch out the insole to the nike react insole, it's the only insole that works for me.
Another thing about the 440 hi is that in my experience, they last a really long time. I didn't blow out the toecap quickly which tends to be the case with other models I like to skate. The sole was starting to wear out quicker than the toecap even. It might sound wasteful but I've got a lot of shoes to skate through and I was actually getting tired of wearing the 440. I know if it ain't broke, don't fix it, but eventually I wanted to move on. If you want durability, this might be it for you.
So far I've had the 1010 and the 440 hi and both have been great (minus the continued heel slippage in the left 1010 shoe).
