Dunks and waiting for my root canal appointment
[close]

when i first saw that colorway i fucking hated it so much.......seeing them more and more though they look hella good to me now. maybe was just the lighting on that first photo or was a sample wich wasn't the final/ production material in the beginning?

Anyway those are hot and i hope you gained some confidence wearing some dope shoes going into that appointment. hope it was as chill as can be too
[close]
Thanks! It wasn't too bad. I didn't like those dunks either when i first saw the pics. After seeing them live i had to get them. Quality is also good. Thinking about getting another pair because they are sitting on shelfs :D

i need to check the gear crisis/ spending thread or whatever that is cause i now saw those dunks for like 90€ and straight up ordered them.....fuck me, man!

first time trying the cup version of the wino slip on and I’ll definitely buy more as long as it’s around. I pray emerica does whatever they have to do to keep the g6 midsole in production

Skating same shoe and color right now, tactics has them on sale. I wore them at work a few days to break them in and have skated them 3-4 sessions now and these are the best slip ons ever made. The Lakai Owens come in at a close 2nd for me, but these being a full cupsole with the G6 they have much better support.

Skated shmoofoils for the first time today

They’re great, go on easy unlike wino slip ons but feel like skate shoes when you’re using them

how much do they stretch?
looking for some slips as chillers
but every brand i tried on was too narrow
while cool-guying is a real phenomenon, studies show that 83% of all cool-guying incidents can be attributed to the cool-guyee being an awkward weirdo

They’re the same as all the other brands but after wearing a few times to walk and once to skate the suede has formed to my foot pretty well already

They were slightly too narrow at first and a little stiff but I can feel them taking shape

In my desperation to keep skating slip cups, I bought a pair a half size down as an experiment and I’m surprised I’m getting heel slip on one foot, I’ve got room up near the toes.

Should this go as I stretch out the suede?

Emerica Servold. Been getting a lot of compliments on them. They run big though imo so I ordered another pair a half size down to skate without having heel slip or needing to wear thick socks. If you’re wearing them as a slip on, I’d say they are more secure on your foot than Romero’s or Figgy’s in the same size, but less secure than the wino slip.

So they’re replacing G6 with clittoral hoods?

Yeah I’d say it becomes more form fitting to your foot as you break it in more. Hell maybe even try another half size down? I’m usually a 12 in everything but emericas I have to go 11.5 to prevent the heel slip and foot moving side to side feeling. They’re pretty tight for the first session but really mold to my feet pretty quickly and feel more secure.

I realised after a couple days of wearing them, the heel lining being so “new” wasn’t catching my sock yet.

Feels good now, even snagged another pair

I loved skating in that shoe, its fun seeing the blue and yellow slowly reveal after each session. Lasted a decent bit too.

Jordan 4 SBs

Yeah they are reps, but who seriously gives a fuck except a bunch of hypebeast bandwagon resellers? The quality is really good on them, no crazy flaws or defects, some very small differences but nothing earth-shattering. People call SLAP a "toxic" place, but I'm pretty sure SLAP pails in comparison to the world of sneaker resellers and the current state of "sneaker culture", that shit is a cancer and some of the cringiest stuff out there. I'd love nothing more than someone to call me out for wearing "reps" just so I can look them in their smarmy eyes and know that I have more meaningful things in my life than sneakers. These statements do not reflect all resellers or "sneakerheads", I've been into shoes for the last 20 years and own an untold amount of pairs, but the current hypebeast bandwagon culture is just disgusting to me.

$44 shipped and they even came with Stock X tags, socks, a Kobe rubber bracelet, a mini foam basketball and a J1 keychain!

Let's see someone beat China on that one!

Win

Initial thoughts:
A snug TTS. You could go .5 size up if you like a little more room or want to upgrade to a much thicker insole.
The insole is STI but is the really thin one.
Grip is great, flick is great.
Nice rounded toe box with a little bit of padding not overkill by any means.
This particular kind of shoe silhouette is my personal favorite.

Would it be possible to paint the white stitches black? Would like to try this shoe, seems like a simple cupsole.
