Was hoping I’d see a pair of these. How’s the fit ? True to size ? I’m curious about trying these
Hey @Lukabrazi
TTS, super comfy.
Flick is sick as expected, did a nice kickflip first try that I didn't expected.
Grip is super good and they feel good pretty much straight out of the box.
They feel better than Blazers (to put some comparison) but I really can't skate vulcs.
If you're a normal person who likes vulc you'll love these ones.
Only downside are since they laces are round the get undone a lot. Double knot and problem solved.
If anything else, feel free to ask :)
Sir, I'm going to politely, but firmly, ask you and your common sense to leave this establishment.

Some photos  these look grey hemp/canvas(?) and others they actually look olive green like the official color listed by Ipath. Pretty trippy how lighting makes such a difference. The latest vegan crickets don't seem to do that to me

These look rad on foot! Super clean!!

Anyone know the model name of these Vans? Found em at Ross super cheap. They kinda remind of the Vans my parents used to buy me in middle school back in the early 00s which I dig.

Vans Speed LS and they've already been phased out. They use the Fairlane outsole and it was a modern throwback to 90s/00s Vans cupsole models.

They did quite a few colors so it's possible to find more if you end up liking them!

Just got the Dane LRAB’s today and couldn’t help but think that dark green / black must be the “reclusive pro you want to see more of but are happy that they put out what they did anyway” colorway

Nice. I think you need a pair of white bucks for that classic 50s look.

Thanks, and good idea. Would look good with an aloha shirt, or any straight-hem loop collar camp shirt, and khakis for a summer dinner or something with a wool cardigan in the evening

Or like a Pendleton board shirt and some tart arnels hahah

These are kinda my only "nice" shoes right now

I want some wallabees again though, I miss those

Will try them after work with some FP on them. 933 are perfect for me but you can't deny that Superstars are one of the best looking shoes ever.

Great colorway

great colorway but terrible construction on those ones. at least with the thin leather tongue . I had been skating superstars for a year but that pair put me back on 1010's . They should keep the suede superstars in all black with the soft foam tongue. that was one of the best skate shoes ive had in years.

Thinking about the Marc Johnson olive/black Campus ADVs that came out before he completely disappeared, you're def on to something

Nearly got those myself. I really liked the "Wrapped" versions, especially on a canvas slip on.

Only reason why I shared is because these things are shockingly bouncy and cushy. Nike field general I got cheap (should be it’s all synthetic BS) but I swapped in some black laces and an extra dancer blazer insole with the zoom packet. Nike should make a legit SB version with a different outsole. (And real leather/suede)

Love the look but I've tried them about 4-5 times and I always hope I'll feel different about them, but they always feel like I'm going to roll my ankle.  Like the heel of the shoe is too narrow or something.

Just looked at a Superstar  (non skate)  in a Nordstrom Rack while looking for something else and that Superstar sole is much narrower in the heel/midfoot area than I recall.

The sole's heel height/firmness definitely do leave some to feel like it's ankle roll territory. I know I personally like my feet to be closer to even heel to toe than not, as well as lower in the shoe. These always look/feel good when trying on for me at first, but I inevitability pass on them.

Adidas are notorious for heel drop, so I'm unsurprised, honestly
