KB Blazer Mid

I wanted them as chillers but they’re too Wizard of the Oz looking. I’ll probably wear these indoors until the tread deteriorates. There’s no way these will make it past one session without shoe goo, unless there’s suede or rubber underneath the velvet.

Those are sick. Which model?

I’ve been selling off chillers and buying Gore Tex shoes because the weather has been shitty.

This is one of the pairs:

I may be basic but I swear no skate shoes fit my feet as nicely as these.

Skated these a couple times, super glued some seams

They're narrow and pointy and I don't think they're going to last very long

But they were $18 so

They don't last long at all but they will be the best shoe you've skated at least imo.
Also the insole goes great in vans pros.

Where did you find these for $18? I would buy 5 pairs right now

Depop, they had never been skated just worn around for a day or two

I don't think I'll ever get any again, my feet are just way too wide for them. They work though, like a rock climbing shoe in some ways, or a ski boot. My toes being snug together like that. I just don't like the tiny sole, makes me feel like I'm gonna break my pinky toes(I have never rolled an ankle, I just always break my foot a few joints back from my pinky toes but I've definitely broken my little toes a bunch too and them b sit sideways foreal)

But yeah I could see them being dope if my feet weren't so neanderthal

They're a half size up, so I'm not dying in em. They don't bug me too much. I wouldn't use them for jumping down stuff though. I do like them but they'll be far from the best I've ever skated sadly due to my anatomy hahah

I'ma skate em. I debated selling them on here. They're dope though. I like my chillers to have skate holes. It's a silent communication

Yeah I have narrow feet I think thats why they work so well for me. A sign of a good shoe is one I don't think of while skating and these were the best example of that for me. Also got a lot of compliments on the street and had some people ask what they were (security guard at supreme was really stoked on them).

If they had better look down factor they would be the only shoe I'd skate, but they look a little potatoey to me with certain pants. Feels like they were designed strictly to be worn with shorts.

If theyre 11 I would buy tho

Hell yeah that's dope

They're 9s

Yeah now that you say its definitely a "shorts shoe" hahah

Blazers are too narrow for me as well but because they're vulcanized it doesn't matter so much. I get a hole in the side faster than a slimmer-footed person but they still feel stable when skating

I want some janoski slip ons real bad hahah. Eyes are open for something in the 20 dollar range that was made at most like 5 years ago. they pop up sometimes.

I saw that at the Nike outlets the other day. The new one looks much better quality. It’s like a suede and nubuck natural grain look. Way nicer.

Just ordered a pair of Adidas Court VL 3.0 on Ebay. On sale for like $20. Anybody ever tried skating them? I'll let you know my thoughts in a month or so.

NB#770 (Australian Open colorway)

They weren’t great for lifting weights, so I’m just going to skate them, and get some Adidas Dropset 4s or Nike Metcon 10s for working out. I do like the way they feel and look, but will skate them before deciding to stock up on more #770s.

Village PM Camo 1PM’s, I painted them black. They broke in after ~30mins and skate well, really sticky. Made/designed the pants from scratch out of some Etaproof fabric

Those look so much better than the camo. I wonder how the uppers will look after repeated abrasion.

Off-topic, but where did you get the deck? I saw a clip of Willow skating one in the past year but never saw one for sale in the US after the initial drop of pro GX boards.

How’d you paint them? Spray paint?

I bought it from a local shop here in Germany. They had a whole pile for 30 euros

Matte black Marabu fabric paint and a small brush. It soaked into the canvas well, after 12 hours of skating so far it hasn't discolored or chipped off yet

Those Polar Air Trainers are sick, and bring back good memories. It’s a shame they don’t do more colorways of the AT1. The Arts-Rec colorway was too flamboyant for me.

First pair of GTs.  In hand they kinda remind me of the OG SB Bruins, my fave skate shoe ever, so can’t wait to try these out.

Never tried on the 70s but visually yes, they look wider.  I’d say the toe box on the CTAS is definitely a tad bit wider than something like a Jack Purcell. The 70s have a shorter toe cap and more pointed toe.
