Village PM Camo 1PM’s, I painted them black. They broke in after ~30mins and skate well, really sticky. Made/designed the pants from scratch out of some Etaproof fabric

Dope everything.

Broke these out today

Those Polar Air Trainers are sick, and bring back good memories. It’s a shame they don’t do more colorways of the AT1. The Arts-Rec colorway was too flamboyant for me.

This show grew on me way too late. Such a sick design.

regular Air Trainers are pretty easy to get and are basically the same thing. I think the SBs just have a thicker tongue, round laces, and the SB insole.

Got these ones off a box truck a little while back. Nice wide toe box, very comfy (not my pic).

I skated through a pair of regular trainers with some insoles out of a pair of SB dunks and they felt the same as the Polar colab ones.

Polar SB Air Trainer 1s was my fav and most comfy SB, I doubled up on them such a good shoe, have the Paul Brown ones too from 04 but they sadly crumbled.

But these SB AM95s now take the cake for most comfy SB-ified model, been wearing these non stop, have the 1st CW too  ;D

These always look better on foot compared to shop posted photos. Have a good session and report back my dude. Curious to see what you think as these have been on my radar. Did they add tongue straps yet?

@Llewellyn Moss Now having worn them for a bit and gotten a couple skate sessions in, I can wholly cosign the CM002 Mids (and the lows). To me, they feel like the most premium last resorts, all the materials seem really nice, and they're mega comfortable. They do not have tongue straps but the tongues on mine have not moved at all which is an issue I have with my VM001/VM003 Highs.

They're a thin cupsole so you're not going to huck in them but its a really good compromise of comfort and board feel. The collar is super padded and nice so your ankle feels really supported. The only nitpick I have is there was a pinch point on my right pinky toe where the suede was creasing during the initial break in but it went away really quickly (also, this did not happen with my Lows).

Yessir I had my doubts when I bought these, but I was anxiously awaiting this color way..Once these are toast I will just get the same ones in the non skate version.

Looking at how substantial the tongue looks in the top-down photos posted here, was wondering if it moved much and considering the lacing options it seemed like you could crank it tight enough to where it might stay. No straps and tongue not staying center is close to a deal breaker. Glad to hear it's not an issue and they're working well for you. Thanks for the update!!

Assuming the cup thinness is similar to the NB#440. Wondering if the collar rises higher than a half cab. Forgive me if you mentioned already, but are they fitting TTS for you?

I haven't worn half cabs in a long time but I think the collar height is pretty similar, maybe a touch higher. They hit right on my ankle bones.

I'm a size down in LRAB, I wear 12 in basically ALL last resorts, it didn't change pre or post cloud cush insole. I'm a 13 in most Nikes/Vans/NB/Asics. That being said, I've got a funky foot so I'm not a good metric, I usually recommend a half size down from your normal shoe size OR whatever your converse size is (if you wear converse)

I'll report in a bit
@Llewellyn Moss, skated them for like an hour and they didn't work for me (which is not shocking).
Let's go by parts:
- After skating my feet were sore even tho I had some game changers on them.
- The toe is extremely round which was a bad thing for me. I struggled a lot to land a kickflip and when I did it looked like shit.
That would be on the downside, probably if you're a normal person you won't have sore feet and if the round toe shape is your thing you'll love them.

Love this cw but the shelltoe flick is so weird.
Also, these ones keep popping out my ankle. That runner heel lock helped a lot tho.

Interesting. Maybe you could use em for chillers. I was put off by the color combos in stock photos but on feet that blue is gorgeous with the white and black and brown. Preciate the field report!

Amazing colorway, terrible terrible build / use of materials . Probably the worst skating / feeling pair of superstars that been put out in a longtime . The tongue is just terrible .

Has anyone figured out how to DIY make the tongue not suck/fall down? I also have a pair that are annoying as shit to wear.

I put some FP game changers sport high and fit improved a lot and tongue felt better. Other that that no idea.

there's that lace loop on the tongue and you can take the laces from the row above it and put them through that loop, it will pull the tongue upwards and they will feel more secure when skating but the best solution is to get regular superstars instead of the adv version

New versions of the ADV Superstar have gone back to a normal padded tongue it seems, so thats at least a step in the right direction

that's good to know, they skate fine but the thin tongue makes the whole shoe look off, which is weird because they also make those non-adv superstar 80s with thin tongues and that model looks totally normal
