Just beat Resident Evil 4 and started up a New Game+ immediately after.

I loved this game when I originally had it for Gamecube, and it's great to re-discover it. The controls were a bit tricky to get used to when I first started playing, because they're nothing like current gen controls but now it's second nature.

I've also been playing a lot of Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 which I never played when it first came out but the game is super fun and it's fun learning stuff in fighting games, it's a bit like skating. You learn the basics and build piece by piece on top of that.

DOTA 2 lol..
I think that is the best MOBA game if to say about gameplay.
But the worst one in community section. Free access brought a horrible result.
It was even not fully translated, only in a couple of last years valve did full translation with voice acting also, its just a single game lol, nothing hard, even I could make it with guidances and content from internet like that https://pickwriters.com/game-localization-services but not volvo with their superpowerfulteam
What to say about last year? Nothing, no changes, every organization is going to dismiss their dota squads. :'(

There's something a bit eerie about loading my last Fallout 3 save from 2017 of a character I created in 2014 but I'm finally getting back to in 2020.

All the main story and DLC have been completed, now I'm just roaming around checking out undiscovered locations to see if there are any sidequests left because I doubt I did all of them.

I started playing Skyrim for the first time. I played the shit out of Oblivion in like 2006 with my roommates, and I bought Skyrim at least twice before and traded it in because I didn't think I had the time. Loving it.

Once this is done I have a dusty copy of Fallout 4 I played a few hours of. Trying to clear my backlog before I think about a PS5.

I've been playing a lot of DiRT Rally 2.0 since I got my PS4 Pro a month or so ago, and finally bought all the actual rally DLC even though I resisted it for years.

I think it's a fine game, especially if you buy the Game of the Year edition, without question the most amount of content out of the box in a rally racing game since Richard Burns Rally. I...I'm not really a big fan of the changes made to the original locations from DiRT Rally. They lose a lot of their atmosphere from the environment changes (Wales especially loses that gloomy English countryside look) and to be honest, aside from Monte Carlo, they don't really feel all that different handling wise.

Still, if you're looking for a rally racer that doesn't hand hold you in the slightest, can't really go wrong with DR2.0.

I tried Dirt and it was way to realistic for me. Need more arcady rally.

Thankfully, DiRT 5 is out on November 6th, and that definitely skews more towards arcade, and has an atmosphere more akin to DiRT 2. Though I don't know how much actual *rally* is in it - they've mostly shown off the general off road racing (which is fine, DiRT was always good at giving you a mix of events to try) and I don't know how well they've optimized the game for current (or I guess, previous) gen considering they're pushing the performance of the next gen consoles pretty hard.

If you don't mind going older, Sega Rally Revo is probably the best bet for fast, arcade rally action, and is still decently priced on eBay.

Personal opinion: not that great of a game.  Essentially doing the same stuff on the same types of enemies the whole game.  Got bored with it maybe halfway-ish through and have no urge to revisit.

Maybe the story is really good?  I can’t bring myself to pay attention to any of the cutscenes, so it could be about collecting Beanie Babies for all I know.

Again, just my opinion- maybe you’ll love it.  Who knows.

I know what you mean, Sneaky. It's 100% a story driven game with hack & slash mechanics. I enjoyed the ability to learn new skills to help with combat sequences, but I can definitely tell how it could get stale for some people.
I'm just extra biased because I'm Japanese.

I'm just extra biased because I'm Japanese.

I understand that sentiment about it being repetitive, but honestly most all open world games are bloated with checklists of the same shit over and over nowadays. It also just depends on the subject matter.

For instance I couldn’t finish horizon zero dawn. Just got bored for whatever reason. I know, some people will be like whaaatt. It’s really funny though, for whatever reason, sometimes I can put up with the same stuff and sometimes I can’t.

My favorite game of this past generation was red dead 2, and although the story AND gameplay are super repetitive, I still couldn’t put it down.

I am loving ghosts so far though, looks like I’m about a third of the way through.

Really like the sword play, and so far am wondering what’s up with the story.

Also Mad Max, which has one of the most boring of all game loops and is just a brawler/beat em up at its core, was fun for me.

Maybe I just like doing the same thing over and over. Unless it’s mafia 3 or something. Will say there is a great soundtrack in that one.

Also sometimes for certain games, its just better to mainline the story missions and mostly ignore the side quests. Sometimes you'll get burned though, it depends. I try to do an even amount of each until I get the flow of the story. Then decide whether or not to move ahead or whatever.

started playing divinity original sin 2.

pretty funny game! dialogue is really good. my first character is a skeleton dude that does unfunny jokes all the time, is terribly afraid of fighting and desperately looking for homies. the other characters reactions to what i say are super funny so far. also combat is super sick, you can do all kinds of weird shit. i'm undead, so poison heals me. so i constantly fight in a poison puddle, hehe.

Replayed Contra 3 on the SNES for a bit yesterday and came to the conclusion that it's definitely in my top 3 games of all time.
