I've been playing Team Fortress 2 for the last week and I forgot how fun that game was

I haven't played since 2014 and the game is basically the same but the joy I get from playing it is still there unlike other games

Just finished The Last of Us Part II. Just barreled through it in like 3 days. Good shit. Now it痴 Alan Wake remaster up next. Never have played it.
I had never played Alan Wake, and then it was on sale for $2 a couple years ago.  I loved it!! Great premise for a game.

Doom eternal. I'm almost at the end...  ...one year after buying it. I'm not a gamer though. It's my favorite game I've ever played.

Actually one of the best games I have played and i forgot about, played it in nearly one sitting when it dropped and was not disappointed. Might have to play it again soon

CS:GO with the gang, I'm fucking terrible at shooters. I spawn to instantly die.

CS:GO has a pretty harsh learning curve, the skill gaps can feel super unfair at times when your just getting into it

if your newer/less skilled at shooters i wouldn't start with CS:GO but you can get good at anything with time.

my main problem is that the guns shoot in patterns and not where you point them. i get you can learn the patterns, but it throws me off so much. also it doesn't feel good. there's no joy in the controls and shooting just feels like clicking on things. still fun with friends tho.

Yeah totally, games that require that level of commitment and learning are both hard to get into and are super competitive, i see it as more of a sweaty game in the grand scheme of things

Yeah, when it launched it was good, but on second playthrough it's actually shite...

If you like Souls-like games then it's a must buy, totally worth the money. If you're not into that style of game then I don't know if it'll sway you, it's Dark Souls 3 type combat with a densely packed open world to explore (and I mean dense).

Went thru the effort of setting up Atari 2600 to show little nephew what it's like. It's fucking sucks don't bother. Wasn't even worth the two minutes it takes to get it out the box let alone the time fucking around with the cables

Eldin Ring (PS5) - bought on PS5 for haptics, game has shit dual sense support; would have rather nabbed the series x version to use my scuff controller (paddles would work so much better for combat).

Soon to be Tiny Tina's Wonderland!

Slogging through Fallout 4. It's getting a little better, but I remember how much I loved Fallout 3 and I don't know what it is that I really don't like about this. Maybe because it's basically the same game with a town building minigame that I don't understand at all. I don't know how to power things with electricity and I don't have time to make the types of dwellings that my OCD mind requires.

Downloaded Hollow Knight (never played it) at the recommendation of a friend and SOTN since it was on sale and it's one of my favorite games of all time. Now I can say I've played it on every generation of Playstation hardware from 1-4.

I glossed over the base building/defense in F4, doesn't impact plot or progression.

There's one mission where i need to power on a radio transmitter or something (after a battle at a castle) and I have no clue how to do it. I will look at a youtube video this weekend like a moron.

I mostly just want a spinoff game where you play as Nick Valentine, like a prequel or something. The main character of F4 sucks. At least now I have the Silver Shroud outfit so my dude looks cool.

It's really easy, you just have to craft a generator and connect it to whatever you want to power with a cable. The bigger the object you want to power the more power it will require.

I already did it once in Sanctuary, but I was fiddling with the controls to get the one at the castle hooked up and just gave up. I'm sure it's just something so stupid I'm doing wrong. The whole thing is just super unintuitive.
