Butter 08's album is one of my favorite albums of all time... it's a total mess.

Overjoyed to finally start the process of conservation framing all the Akira art I've been buying.

Tickets for the first (hopefully) annual summer indie music festival in my city.  If DIIV gets stopped at the border or doesn't make it for some reason I'll be really bummed, but it should be a fun, messed up, three evenings.  Used to love Wolf Parade and Lower Dens is pretty sick too.

Sorry for double posting.

Thanks for reminding me of that, I love that song. I remember being a kid in Manual Skateshop (old Århus shop in Denmark, now gone) right after This Is Skateboarding came out, and the guys who worked there muted Templeton's part. Bummed me out.

Anyway, something new for the want list! https://www.discogs.com/Butter-08-Butter-08/release/239633

it sounds like youre in europe, so you'll probably find better prices on that album that i did in the states. i had it in my want lists for something like 6 months to a year and almost everything that went up was either from europe or japan, and all the ones in the states were asking more than i was willing to pay. i waited it out and got it for like $12 shipped.

ill definitely have to check out those other albums you just posted. i havent heard most of them.

Yeah, I'm in Denmark. Broke right now, but the Butter 08 LP will be mine shortly. There's a seller from UK with a good price, as well as a Japanese seller. Japan's postal service is the fucking greatest.

Please check The Dancing Did out, it's so very charming. Folky post-punk from 1982. Here's a banger of theirs:

A bunch of my tools got taken last week. Was lucky enough to have backups of most of my shit but just can't get by without one of these. Might be too obscure for you guys but this shit makes me happy. This also makes me realize I don't do anything but work these days. Enjoy your youth fuckers.

See if there's a workshop in your area before you go to Home Depot. Home Depot has flat rates on tools you may or may not know how to use, and most workshops will let you come in and use their shit for a couple of bucks (meaning less than Home Depot) and there are some people that might be able to advise you if you don't know how to use the tools.

You might also be able to find a jigsaw and a sander for cheap at local thrift stores in your area. You'd be surprised how often you can find them for <$20 and all they need is a new blade in the saw or a little tape to help hold the sandpaper on when the clips blow out/wear down.

Ordered a washing machine yesterday.
Existing one is old and started to glitch, wouldn't finish washing and loop in same program forever. Makes me feel old.
