I just brought it up because I saw a cube van today, and it said I-evel, I laughed to myself and thought of Billy Lane, and children being videotaped in the washrooms.

That reminds me of the 'Curl up, and Dye' hair salon from Blues Brothers.

I have their first video.  A bunch of people rode for them.  Richard Kirby, Phil Hajal.

We used to go there a lot because it was an hour away and in the winter it was the only place to skate.  The park was really fun though, the curb room was the best.  There were two little kids that skated for them we called "The Bug" and "Dan the Man"  they skated with their shirts off a lot.  I will say that Billy Lane was really good at that park.

That pyramid was huge and I think that the first time I ollied it was my biggest sense of accomplishment in skateboarding.

That said, it was pretty fucked, everyone knew about that guy (I can't remember his name, Bryce or something) and the cameras in the bathroom, the reason Eastern Vert closed, etc.

The waiver to skate was insanely long and had to be notorized.  Richard Kirby's pro deck was a bunch of pictures of him as a little kid.

It was a super sick park, but was owned by a repeat sex offender ( ie Eastern Vert). At the time it had to be one the best indoor parks on the East Coast.

A bunch of people rode for them: Richard Kirby, Phil Hajal, Billy Lane, Graham Bickerstaff, Phil Kent, Steve Young, Nate Jones, Tobee Parkhurst.

It was raided by the FBI when it went down. Some friends of mine broke in after it closed down a cleaned out the shop. I rode I level decks for at least a year after they closed.

I remember guys selling those decks for awhile.

Awesome, I think the guy we called the bug must have been bickerstaff.
