Are they? Dude, my board is always ending up in weird places - like in the dirt, bark dust, etc. And I'm too lazy to clean them. So I asked for the cheapies. Dude at the shop told me that the pros who are on the shop team rock the cheapies too because they can't tell the difference.

And I was right too - the first thing I did was a 5-0 on a curb, and my board shot out and into some bark dust! Bearings fucked in five minutes!

I had my last set for over 3 years before I ruined them (w-40 and forgot to oil them after). They are well worth the money, and the dude at the shop is full of shit most pros ride swiss because they hold up so long. Most people I know clean theirs once a year or so.

Hmmm, maybe I'll try them. I've always wanted to. I like skating fast.

Btw, I don't wanna name drop, but the dude at the shop's whole crew of friends are professional skateboarders as well. I'm pretty sure he knows what they ride. Do you think shops like selling cheaper shit as opposed to more expensive shit? Think about that.

depends if the shop makes money off the cheap stuff like decks, I shouldn't say all pros ride swiss but more then once reading those set up interviews almost every pro mentions swiss when asked what they ride.

I noticed that too, but they also claim to ride their sponsors trucks and decks when in fact many pros ride Indys and Deluxe boards with their graphics on them (the Zero team comes to mind). At least that's what I hear, who knows if it's true.
