Anyway, I just wrote a piece on my personal site about being new to the Apple/Mac world because of my new machine. Some of it might be informative, but mostly it's not. There are a lot of other things I'll probably write about (concerning the platform) as I find time:

Some of it might be informative, but mostly it's not.

I switched four years ago and still have no regrets. Everything about Apple--from the user interface, product design, security, product integration, branding, ease of use--is infinitely better. Your post was a bit tedious to read though. It was more like a review of Apple products, which has been written about much more eloquently (and much longer ago) by Ars Technica, Mossberg, Macworld, iLounge, etc. I guess I wish you'd written more about the differences between the two OS's and how they compare and contrast. You know, basic n00b-to-Mac stuff like the single mouse button, OS X, product design, etc...
