My girlfriend wants me to go on a double date with her sorority little and her boyfriend. Her little said that her boyfriend needs better friends and I'm just wondering on what the fuck that has to do with me. I only have 2 friends and I barely hang out with them, so obviously I don't have time for another friend

I got drug into the same situation. Super odd because the only common theme is weed. But the guys a supreme asshole and I can't fuckin stand him

part of being in a relationship is hanging out with people who you dont really like. get used to it.

honestly, i find my wifes girlfriends to be harder to tolerate than the dudes they're with.

This is true. A couple of my wife's friends are pretty cool. Most are super fuckin drama queens and when they visit I can tell even my wife is annoyed. Makes me wonder why/how she is even friends with them?

I like my circle small. Mostly aquantances and a few friends, very little drama

The best part of being in a relationship is not having enough time to see your idiot friends all the time and it makes you actually like spending time with them again...

Why do I want to spend time with my significant other's horrible friends instead? NAH.

friends are one thing, but family is totally different. you can pick your friends, you cant pick your family.

Co-worker issues - immaturity, basically.

Related to this, I was told today (by a woman) that men only see and do what they're told, while women always look at and consider the whole picture. It seems inconceivable to me and frankly I don't want to think about men and women thinking so radically different. Is it incumbent on men to do the same? Is this even true?

I've always thought I was a pretty laid back and easy going guy, but I've spent the past week in North Carolina with my wife's family and I have absolutely no patience for this slow paced southern bullshit. Nobody here knows how to drive either.

Health insurance...My coverage ended 20-something days ago. The deductible is so high, I'll only seek medical care if I'm on the verge of dying. It: does nothing for me, costs a lot, and won't be used. Yet, I have to have it, or I'll be fined.

All I want is: two teeth cleanings, a physical, a vision test, and cheap glasses. I'll wait until I get a job with decent coverage, and get every possible test done. By then, I'll probably have: diabetes, herpes and AIDS.

Yeah, fuck. That Roy Moore story dropped and Mitch Mcconnell said some shit like, "He should drop out if this is true!" And I was like, "Pfft, that's some hedgy ass loophole bullshit." And then I saw the story on Louie and I was like, "Fuck."

His statement regarding the situtation seemed very honest, heartfelt and intelligent. I was actually proud of him for it. Usually they just deny, deny, deny. It makes us think about the gross power dynamics related to money, fame and admiration.

I agree with some of what you're saying (at least he was honest about these actions), but I think there's also some valid criticisms of his apology, and some other things that have come out seem to indicate that there were other incidents, beyond what was immediately reported.

I'd really like to give the benefit of the doubt to him, but I'm seriously disappointed in all of this.
I definitely looked up to him for like a decade, for multiple reasons.

It's important to seperate the creator from his/her creation. John Lennon beat his wife. Miles Davis was a complete junky. Jereme Rogers... Well, he's pretty awesome actually.

I'm not a huge fan of comedians in general but I love C.K.'s stuff.

It's just really dangerous to look up to someone.
