My crazy, homeless tweaker of an ex has been texting me randomly for the last 5 years, and every time I never respond hoping she gets the fucking hint that I want nothing to do with her anymore. Today, she showed up to my front door and my dad stupidly opens it and now she knows that I still live at the same house. Was forced to change my number today and now I have to look around every time I step out of my house, in fear that my ex is going to pop out with a gun, which is totally something she's capable of doing. Shit's fucked.

Oh yeah, she showed up at my house to drop off a picture of me when I was 5 years old. I didn't even know that she stole that picture from my mom years ago.

Got off work yesterday and my car wouldnít start.
Thought it was the battery so I bought a new one, but that didnít fix the issue.
Iím afraid my starter has gone bad. At least I got my money back for the battery...
This thread makes me feel like I just came across two Juggalos fucking in an alley.

I got home from work today to find my cat dead in the backyard.  She was 14 and sick, I hope she is in a better place.

RIP Baby

Slipped out on a half-cab board slide on a tiny ledge as I was going go pack up my shit and go home... and I ended up breaking my fucking hand. It wasn't even that gnarly of a slam, my hand just got caught and bent funny as I fell.

Less than thrilled. I'm looking at 3 to 5 weeks in a cast.

The only thing makes this slightly more tolerable is that this was my first experience actually using Canada's healthcare system as a patient. My ER trip took 2 hours start to finish and I left without a bill. It was kind of surreal. My last trip to the ER in US resulted in a 2K bill and I felt lucky to only owe 2K.

Also my ER doctor's favorite skater is Rodney Mullen and he played the Tony Hawk games growing up. I told him the Gonz was my fav so he Googled him in front of me. I'm not sure he'd be able to appreciate MG, but it was cool of the Dr. to look him up.

Ghosting...either dating, friendship, or family... ghosting is some morbid shit. Can't have ghosts without dead people.

Deeper words have never been spoken.

I thought it would be cheaper to buy a blank front door and do all the hinges, locking mechanisms, trimming and what not on my own. $800 later, Iíve got a door that looks like a beaver with a cleft palate chipped away on it. Makes for a good story though.

Putting eyeshadow on and shaving your armpits before a pickup game is psychological warfare.

Trash collection came 2 hours before schedule causing me to miss pickup, missed last week too, fuck!
That's what I get for doing it the morning of, not the night before. Gotta make as little garbage as possible this week.

My great-aunt died the other day. I'm it really cut up about it but it just sucks seeing my dad cry.

Also, my 13 year old nephew stole $120 from my disabled sister and put it all on gift cards for fucking Fortnite. Spent my whole day off trying to get him to confess and in the end I just went to the Dollar General and asked to see the footage of him in the store because he lied and said someone else bought them for him. Now Im helping my sister cover that when he could have just not stole the money. This is his second time doing it too. Our mom tore his ass up tho

Fucking fortnite. I'm sorry your great aunt passed.

@Lurper hope your hand turns out ok. That's great you didn't get billed.

I'm a disabled vet with all his care entrusted to the VA 100% so that's who gets my bill.

I'm ghosting family in Georgia that are immigrants who decided that talking shit is more important than being family.
I take everything I said back. The board hit me in the nuts for the first time ever today, because i was wearing these shits.

The world is coming to an end.

Everyone and their mother has said that for eternity.

Every generation wants to believe that the time they are living in, is some how special or worse than ever before.

It ainít. Read a fucking history book. Thereís no plagues or world wars, just idiots with cameras on their phones screaming and crying.

Donít believe the hype.

I think we can manage... unless you literally think the sky is falling.

If so, seek help immediately.

Get over yourselves. This world has been around much longer and will continue to go on with, or without you.

Sorry, ya ainít that important. None of us are.

Shut the fuck up and skate.

Again, join the club buster.

Pick your ass up and go do what you want to do, if that's what you actually want to do...

Otherwise keep whining on slap I guess.

I've been there trust me, and it sure as hell aint going to get you where you want to go...

Go out and do what the fuck you wanna do man, while you still can.

@Banned from the room Itís ridiculous how people push this. While I understand social needs and how bad itís been for disadvantaged students losing a year is better than risking the student and familyís lives.

To add on, signed up to be notified for the Lance Bones Brigade reissue (Planned to hang one and skate another). But they sold out heartbreakingly fast.

it's about fucking time to change and stop doing these trash jobs and get real again.

Hell yeah, getting it out of your system is necessary! We support you Frank. I'm happy you're having this reckoning about your destructive work environment. Of course it doesn't make financial survival any easier - but having worked in destructive service jobs for far too long as well, I always love to see someone fight for moving on. Especially when that someone is a shalomie ;D You got this! Fuck all that. I'm sorry it was such a shit day.

Freelance, all the best to you being away from family during a holy time. Hopefully technology and video calls can mitigate the pain of distance. Pandemic world sucks :-[

All the best to the shalomies!
