just to different extents. Cow milk’s for baby cows!

agree for sure, i'm not a vegan but nobody should be eating that stuff IMO.

^ Tell us what you have been eating. You getting some exercise/skating too?

exercising every day apart from sunday. Skating a couple times a week. Usually start my mornings with weet bix, blueberries and banana and coffee. lunch is like a salad with chicken or a ham sandwich blah blah, dinners been chicken or salmon blah blah with roasted veggies. throughout the day the snacks have been roasted almonds or apple, watermelon, grapes etc maybe a protein bar. Ive been trying to stay pretty clean

We may not know what skateboarding is

beans n greens help me. but the ultimate poop food is a meal made of lentils. they clean me out, never fail.

stress and anxiety can contribute as well

You should be ok. Maybe try getting some some fibre supplements and throw em in smoothies too. Cut out any white breads/pastas etc. Get a slow cooker and make some delicious meals from kidney beans or black beans. Also consider cutting back on meats.

All the suggestions above are good, but judging by your diet, if you've been having weetabix with fruit and coffee every morning and extra fruit as the day goes along, I don't know how you aren't shitting regular. Lentils are a good call, as are maybe reducing meal size.

Oh, I also highly recommend a poo box for anyone and everyone. A little step box to put your feet up while you shit feels great, makes everything a bit easier.

Hope you feel better soon pal.

I second the fibre supplements.

I got super sick in Cuba had to take that stuff that prevents your from shitting your pants all day long then went straight into not being able to go to take a shit for weeks. Fibre pills from the pharmacy really helped...

Also, at some point you got to think of going to the doctor. I knew someone who had the absolute worst diet (bread and cheese only), he was soo backed up he would eat and throw up not long after because there was no where for the food to go in his digestive system.

seems like so many people have given up any attempts at avoiding covid.

i haven't exactly been a safety cop or whatever. it just seems simple, slap on a mask if you go indoors somewhere, avoid bars and just get takeout. yeah you still might get it but at least you tried?

and so many people i know won't even do that, the bare minimum.

its become a divisive thing for me. don't really want to be around people that haven't been taking any precautions, its the same as being reckless myself, and no one is gonna save me if i get sick.

My life lately has been go to work and work half my day away and deal with work that makes me wanna pull my hair out, get food, go home and just sit in my room for a few hours browsing Instagram and YouTube, go to bed, and then repeat. Legit every single day for like the past two weeks. So yeah, as you can see my life has been pretty damn gray and depressingly mundane recently. Still recovering from a broken collarbone which is why I haven’t really been doing much, and still got like another month or two to go so I haven’t been skating at all either, which just adds to the grayness of it all.

Hey @Noble Experiment I had a similar situation here. It was really getting me down when my country was in complete lockdown but I was an essential worker. It was okay for me to leave the house and 5km radius to go to work all week, Mon-Fri, but as soon as 5 o'clock Friday came around, I had to go straight home? It really started to get to me.

If you're like me, you might have gotten stuck in a rut of browsing youtube and instagram without even really enjoying it. The key is finding something that gives you a bit of joy and making the time for that.

I've really gotten into a bit of exploring. Just going for walks and cycles down roads that I haven't been before. It's not always exciting, but it's something new. I also picked up a new instrument and that's been really fun. I've been playing guitar for almost half my life, so it kind of became joyless, but with a new instrument I can really concentrate and lose myself in it. I found a new book too.

Hopefully you can find something that you get a little kick out of, or something to focus on more than just screens. Really I wouldn't be doing any of this shit if not for COVID because I would much rather be going to get drunk with my friends, but the world is your oyster and you can spend your time how you chose.

Usually it just takes one person to open the floodgates for others to speak out. I guess legally they're not allowed to mention the guys name that did it? There's CCTV all over parliament house too, as you'd expect. What a piece of shit.

Why does your conservative party call themselves the liberal party? So confusing.

Quebec's Liberal party is confusing as well, they are conservative and have nothing to do with the national Canadian liberal party, which leans left. So confusing.

Haha yeah after I posted I was thinking I was gonna catch some heat for that, yeah the conservatives here are called the liberal party
The Australian Labor Party is the name here of what would be the closest to your Democratic Party

Fun fact, the alp was the worlds first elected socialist democracy

It’s bullshit what happened to that girl, you see her photos on the internet and it’s just some fucken kid man, it said on news it was like her first real job or whatever. That’s pretty fucked

Edit - I’ve got no idea why it’s called that if I was more on the ball tonight I’d say something clever about them always having to piggyback on some other shit. I don’t think they ever won straight up they’re in bed with a couple pissant parties and they always put their votes together, can’t win otherwise

South Texas winter storm, we aren’t used to this kinda cold at all down here.
Yesterday morning I tried to go to work, all roads covered in ice, as soon as I exited my apartment complex I slid out into a curb and it took 10 minutes for me to get back across the street to my apartment.
2 other cars slid out into the curb a few minutes after me but luckily we were all about 30 feet from one another.
I called into work.
We haven’t had power for 30 hours, no heat. I stink, I need to shower but no warm water, it’s straight ice cold.

This morning I took a bath with baby wipes, fabreeze, and cologne. Roads are still going to be icy when I leave for work in a few minutes but at least the sun is coming out by 8am today.

I work mostly outside (cleaning rental car returns) , the last week had been pretty shitty at work. But I work with cars so at least after I’m in a car for 5 minutes the heater starts working.
I slept in a weird position and my neck has a big knot feeling.
Wish I could just call in today also but I don’t wanna do that to them at work.
Yesterday was at least super slow at work. I work 8am-5pm. Yesterday around noon I told the boss I could go in and they were like, eh it’s chill, another worker with a big ass truck and good tires went in and they said just take the day off, so that’s a plus.

Most food places are closed because lots of parts of the city don’t have power. We waited in line at churches fir an hour yesterday lol. I haven’t had churches in a super long time but their chicken tenders were good.
Another positive is the roads aren’t covered in ice today.
I can’t image what homeless people are going through down here. At least I still have shelter, a car, and a job.

whats with writing like this

toronto weather, grey and cold - which is still skatable but oftentimes the smallest amount of wind will suck the pop the heat right out of you. We also dont have a spring, its more of a slushy winter - water/slush gets onto your shoes somehow even though you take extra care to push/step on the dry spots, then gets on your board, grip is ruined and your wife is cheating on you.

why dont i go to a indoors/underground parking. im a kid dont have a car/money we do have a mediocre indoors that is extremely overpriced (think 35-25 cad for a crowded 2hr visit - closed because of covid anyways). undergrounds are all flatground cant find no bumpers etc.
Nah i skate big boards cause i got big ass feet and a big ass dick
