why is it so goddamn difficult to find a better job? the recruiters just don't call back, but instead repost the job a few days later. anyone else feeling the burn?

It's funny you mention that, my job has been terribly short staffed; my boss said theres' been 4 no-shows for interviews in a row.

Found a black widow crawling around in my basement. I guess the humidity is nullifying my diatomaceous earth. Time put on a ventilator and reapply.

Im injured.
I have a floating bone in my ankle and sometimes it totally fucks up.
It's the price of living life as a ripper.

I was eating fast food and sitting Indian style on the blacktop.
I stood up and I could not walk on it. I'm a fucking beast about pain too so I know it really fuckiyhurts
It felt like I had a bunch of glass in my ankle and the arch of my foot.
I reached down and pushed a little mini marble thing into a socket type void and I could walk on it enough to get home.
I woke up this morning it's slightly better.

Now I gotta try and stay off bloard and wait to have enough money to get to the Dr.

The Dr is going to say stop skating. I'm going to say. So I should get back on drugs huh? People don't understand without my bloard underneath me I'm not really alive at all.

Hopefully is just like a galleon cyst or whatever. Gout berries?

I have an incredible fear of not being able to walk and skate. It comes from when I had to learn to walk again when I was 21.

As fun as the wheelchair is I'm not going back. I'd rather die than not skate.

Skating and guitar are the only things worth suffering for in this world. I can't stop I won't stop.

I know what's awaiting me if I do stop.

I'm a skater been one for 40 years. Even when I'm not skating I'm cruising places. There's no stopping.

Not even a dead rubbery painful ankle. But I guess I gotta chill a little and try to get to the Dr again. Only to hear the same shit I obviously forgot.

I didn't even remember that spine surgery which is why I have no feeling in my left thigh. Dude was like HELLO!!!!  Y you had a surgery that you skipped twice. Once to go do a graffiti battle in the ave against regs.

He must think I'm tarded.

My family's business got hit by a smash and grab crew around 5:40AM. Currently cleaning and doing inventory. I'm not sure what to think or feel.

I low key wanna quit my band.

This will certainly destroy some friendships. I have to finish the recording tomorrow and no one was listening to my plan from day one.

They don't believe in me. They don't pay space rent. They can't even see how un fun their baggage makes this.

I feel like being a one man bland is better sometimes.

I just hope after it's over things return to normal and mofos stop being so pissy.

Mofos was so fun 3 months ago. Today we just barely hanging on and fools descend into yelling about nothing.

It's painful.
These are my favorite people on earth and I love them as much as the closest family

My son took his first real slam the other day. Crawled too fast for himself and tripped on his arm or hand. Fully faceplanted the hardwood and took a tooth to the lip. Split the inside a little bit - it was his first time drawing blood. That bloody little baby mouth was a sight, luckily his tooth is all good.

Lil man took it like a champ. Cried for maybe 10-15min, bled a bit, got him cleaned up, then he just started tounging at the gouge. Has a nice fat lip and hasn't been phased since. Kid's only 10mo and already preparing for carnage.

I guess this falls somewhere between stoked and not-stoked haha
Do you see another one of these over there?

Just tested positive for covid and have to take minimum 5 days unpaid time off work.

Sorry to hear. Hope it doesn't affect you too much beyond that.

I stay double-masked up all day...

Thanks ed. symptoms are mostly gone, I’m returning to work tomorrow (thank god). It sucked but it really just felt like a cold/flu condensed into a few days, so not the worst I’ve ever felt

Everyone knew and loved Jody. He was the sweetest individuals on this planet. And the world is a darker place with out Jody.

I don't have anymore details.

An employee of speedway next to the Salem banana ledges (hobo hideout) got killed walking to work this morning walking through the alley

It was a random attack by a local meth head who was heard and seen pacing and making promises to kill someone on this day.
They chose someone everyone loves.
We was friendly me and the victim. They was sweet and kind to everyone.

I want payback. I fuckin hate violence I hate meth.

After the asshole pos was done beating everyones friend. He was done caving their head in. The son of a bitch bastard they jumped into the canal which leads to the harbor and was apprehended by the coast guard.

The victim was fighting for life all day.

We wish harm upon the defendant

Went to my local mini ramp to kill 45 minutes before a party. Fucked around on the street course to warm up then hit some lip tricks on the mini. Went to go lace an on top frontside 5-0 and slipped out right on to my left butt cheek (no bones thank god). Somebody waxed one fucking side of the mini ramp. It hurt so bad. The last bad slam I had on a mini was in my 20's when I went from the deck to the flat onto my hip. Similar bruising but fucked my hip up too.

My left butt cheek is fucked. Huge hematoma, swollen, hard, and black and blue. I can walk fine, and it surprisingly doesn't hurt much at all.

All in all, I'm hoping it heals up more everyday and doesn't leave any long lasting ailments. Check your ledges, coping, fucking whatever before jumping on them shits pals.

Adopted a 1 year old female mutt yesterday. Super pretty dog, other than some kind of shepherd I have no idea what she’s made of. She was an immediate fit with the family at the shelter. So mellow, affectionate, smart.

Got home and kept her on the leash in the front yard while the wife got out 9yo female staffy on a leash so we could go for a walk and introduce them slowly. Everything was cool.

Getting ready for bed and new dog found one of old dogs toys; old dog snapped and started fighting. Old dog bit her own tongue, blood was flying everywhere and was all over new dog but no wounds, thankfully.

They’re hanging out today but we’re keeping all food and toys totally separated. They both got on the couch on each side of me a little while ago, so that’s good, but shit has been kinda stressing everyone out.

Major sympathies, Slippy and I hope for the best for your people.

I also have to say, my heart also goes out to the people of Gaza. They are about to get annihilated. To be clear Fuck Hamas and Fuck the IDF.

Free Palestine.

What a shitshow.

Civilians on all sides will suffer b/c of the dumb games the US, UK, Israel, Iran, Saudi and so on continue to play.

I was looking for a specific record in my collection, but it seems that is gone. I have no recollection of selling or giving it so someone, but it’s nowhere to be found. Bummer….

I was kind of hoping that changing cities in my dating apps would create more results. I have to inform you that they do not. I haven’t been to Canada yet so things might change when I cross the border.

Had a neighbor come over, she brought her kid. Her kid drew all over my son’s playroom with a marker. Never said sorry, I’ll clean that up, or anything to that effect. Wow. Guess who will never come over again and may get a steamy pile of (my) shit on their lawn?
