Not stoked on switch flips. Every time I think I couldn’t possibly get closer to landing one without actually rolling away, I end up on some new level of close. First I could flip it really well and I thought, all I need to do now is put my feet on it. Then for a long time I could always flip it perfect and land it with my back foot, just gotta put the front foot on now. Now i can flip it perfect and land with either foot, just gotta put both feet on at once. When I try to focus on keeping my shoulders perfect and bringing both feet back, I mess up the flick or the pop. I don’t remember regular kickflips being near this hard to learn

It's the same as regs practice do a switch Ollie do a switch flip. Over and over.

I have an issue with flicking them so hard that they bone out really nicely, way nicer than my kickflips.
My foot is way out like Bruce Leroy but my shoulders opened up land one foot off. Front foot.

It's definitely because in the 90s I fucked with switch fs flip first.  I only had the scoop switch 80 to turn around in my bag for a long long time.

Sw fs flip seemed logical as a next trick.

I have
If you're landing on half flips your not jumping high enough or flipping it in the right spot.

This graphic is telling me to do switch flip switch heel and switch one foot.  I Ollie sliding my foot from the bubbles through the bolts towards the finger i flick off in the areas around the fingers.

Having switch Ollie over sewer caps and flat gaps going downhill is a big help
Plz stop killing each other

Got dumped.

I was really in love with her too.

My fault in the end really, oh well. 23 years old and this shit is starting to hurt.

Once I was alone I just laid on the futon listening to Leonard Cohen and thinking about the other girl I liked and missed.

Shit sucks dude. Good luck. But you are young and your dating pool is pretty deep (and most people aren't carrying a ton of baggage yet), so shit will eventually work out.

I just took my dog down for a piss and she grabbed this half eaten brownie thing
I don’t like her eating shit off the street so I got down and pulled it out of her mouth and threw it away. Yeah brownie for sure, I got shit on my hand now. Great

I’m walking in to the lobby and I smell like, this faint whiff of shit. Oh hell no
Smell my hand - Yeah dude it’s actual shit

Ride the lift up with some couple, they’re super friendly and patting my dog, she’s licking them and they love it. I don’t make eye contact with them

All I can smell in lift is my shitty hand and her shitty face
We got straight in the shower
listen to cosmic psychos

last night there was a wild skate dad at my local. first he gave a lecture about covid is a hoax and its all misinformation and fear mongering which is whatever, I can deal with kooks at the park, thats not unusual. But then he started making his kids, like 4 or 5 years old, ride down the roll in between his legs. One was scared and cried so he spanked and yelled at him. A four year old. For being scared of some dangerous shit. Really bummed me out. Then he ate shit and landed on the other one on a kickturn.....luckily the kid seemed fine. Skate dads - not stoked on em.

Hmmmm Nice Bike

I can't remember who, but someone here mentioned stepping on a nail recently and the same shit just happened to me. I gotta go get a shot tomorrow that's gonna run me back like $200 because I don't wanna risk it getting infected. Fuck.

Haha damn, I got locked out of my pornhub account.

Update: I got back into my account, hurrah.

Not stoked that the older I get, the more and more swamp ass I have after skating.

Even with these breathable fucking mesh ones. Its so annoying after a session and you wanna go to the bar or wherever.

I can deal with being sweaty everywhere else haha, but the ass just sucks.

Yay! Porn is essential. I don't care what anyone says. Let those men and women do what they will as long as it is adults and consented by both parties. To me, it's the modern day equivalent of vaudeville/sideshow act.

You need to fashion a vent hose to run directly from the car's AC vent to shoot cool air where needed. I saw a photo of that somewhere and if I wasn't skating at home all the time, then that would be my solution at this point. Ain't no shame blasting cold air into your nether regions to speed drying/cooling.

I'm so tired of having to ask people to wear a mask in my store. It has been just shy of six fucking months.
Where the fuck are these people going that they aren't required to wear some form of facial covering?

My crazy, homeless tweaker of an ex has been texting me randomly for the last 5 years, and every time I never respond hoping she gets the fucking hint that I want nothing to do with her anymore. Today, she showed up to my front door and my dad stupidly opens it and now she knows that I still live at the same house. Was forced to change my number today and now I have to look around every time I step out of my house, in fear that my ex is going to pop out with a gun, which is totally something she's capable of doing. Shit's fucked.

Oh yeah, she showed up at my house to drop off a picture of me when I was 5 years old. I didn't even know that she stole that picture from my mom years ago.

Got off work yesterday and my car wouldn’t start.
Thought it was the battery so I bought a new one, but that didn’t fix the issue.
I’m afraid my starter has gone bad. At least I got my money back for the battery...

Slipped out on a half-cab board slide on a tiny ledge as I was going go pack up my shit and go home... and I ended up breaking my fucking hand. It wasn't even that gnarly of a slam, my hand just got caught and bent funny as I fell.

Less than thrilled. I'm looking at 3 to 5 weeks in a cast.

Also my ER doctor's favorite skater is Rodney Mullen and he played the Tony Hawk games growing up. I told him the Gonz was my fav so he Googled him in front of me. I'm not sure he'd be able to appreciate MG, but it was cool of the Dr. to look him up.

Deeper words have never been spoken.

I thought it would be cheaper to buy a blank front door and do all the hinges, locking mechanisms, trimming and what not on my own. $800 later, I’ve got a door that looks like a beaver with a cleft palate chipped away on it. Makes for a good story though.

Trash collection came 2 hours before schedule causing me to miss pickup, missed last week too, fuck!
That's what I get for doing it the morning of, not the night before. Gotta make as little garbage as possible this week.

My great-aunt died the other day. I'm it really cut up about it but it just sucks seeing my dad cry.

Also, my 13 year old nephew stole $120 from my disabled sister and put it all on gift cards for fucking Fortnite. Spent my whole day off trying to get him to confess and in the end I just went to the Dollar General and asked to see the footage of him in the store because he lied and said someone else bought them for him. Now Im helping my sister cover that when he could have just not stole the money. This is his second time doing it too. Our mom tore his ass up tho
