Nah that doesn’t happen here. Someone would get got.

I made a chiropractor appointment for next Saturday. I’ve been in so much pain, I’m living off of Tylenol. My insurance doesn’t cover it but I’m at the end of my rope.

Weird algorithmic coincidence. That was on my front page when I got home from work today and I watched it even though I usually avoid heavy bum out LA stuff cuz I still gotta live here. Some of the trends he talked about were pretty striking.

It’s heart breaking. I wish I could do something. I have a few homies on meth. There seems to be no way to stop them. They have come to terms with just going insane.

Gilbert Gottfried died. Feeling old. When I think about it, he’d been in so much and around forever, just a constant presence.

His opening to the Hugh Hefner roast was amazing. He went so far past the boundaries it was unreal.

I've noticed there's a thing now where any doctors/specialist/x-rays etc that's more than just one office seems to of outsourced their reception staff to some special receptionist company. And I've seen multiple times them actually be pretty shitty to both patients and the actual doctors and specialists. Every job gets tedious and annoying but can't tell me for a second that answering phones and organising some papers while sitting in air conditioning is stressful enough to warrant this behaviour. About a year ago I got some x-rays done and about twenty minutes after I leave the technician calls me saying I need to come back to get some more stuff done. When I get back the receptionist makes a big deal like I don't have an appointment and I'm like they called me can you just talk to them and theyre like no I don't work for you and I'm in charge of who goes where not them. So I just snuck in and found the room myself. Anyway today I see something similar happen to someone else. I saw them standing outside so I told them to just go in and stand next to the door and walk straight in when someone opens it. Don't think they did tho

Somehow McDonald's has become part of my life again. I didn't eat it for years and now it's Avery other week. I also have weird compulsion stuff so even tho I'm completely full and feel like shit my brain will be like there's still another burger, chips and nuggets you better eat those. Why aren't you eating them? Fucking eat them already!  Now I'm so fat my lungs can't expand to breath properly and my heart feels weird.

You need to change your diet up asap this sounds like an early death in the making tbh

used to work the front desk at a Drs office and the job sucks.  i would have gotten written up with a quickness if I did any of that.  also experienced it as a patient with a serious chronic illness and have been completed like complete trash by hospital staff because my insurance dropped me.  Shit sucks all around.  I will say most hospital staff has constant training and bullshit they go through to drill it into their heads to treat patients with respect.  That doesn't always translate to the patient experience obviously, but its something they try to be aware of and improve.

in school for lab science partially so I can just avoid that shit altogether.

Someone ran over my mailbox. Probably intentional. Oh well.

I just found out you can't just have a fortified pillar to house your mailbox and if someone totals their car running into it you could be liable.

Just discovered that to become a permanent physics high school teacher I will have to do an additional physics 6CFU (one small exam) via a bullshit e-university, paying 600 bucks.

All of this cos apparently even if I did civil&env Engineering they only count physics I and physics II as credits.

They don’t count as physics exams like rational mechanics, solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, heat exchange, electric circuits and all the shit I did in uni and that I’m currently fucking teaching in school.

Fucking scammers. I find this so absurd.
But yeah whatever I’m on it I will do it.. it is what it is.

Edit: the worst about this is that 50-years old gargoyles who studied at the faculty of remaining silent some decades ago don’t have to do shit.

Same degree but way shittier uni, no integrations. Madness. They only scam the young gunz but we’re gonna fuck them up.

That sucks. About 9 years ago I smashed a neighbors mailbox accidentally. I just immediately stopped, pulled over, and knocked. Told them what happened. I wasn’t sure they had a camera or not who knows. I did tell them I would replace it. Went to Home Depot right away and bought them the same one they had and the stupid numbers. Put it in that day. If I didn’t live right down the street I’m not sure that I would have, but the lady was very grateful. Was out like 90 bucks though that was going to be weed money haha

This war shit is bothering me. I hate the war system I can’t stand violence.

I wish if the us was going to supply the Ukrainians weapons they would just do it quietly and shit. I definitely don’t wanna hear Putin’s threats at all.

Also fuck nato. I’m sure the Russian’s had nukes there already but this added stress of Cold War huff and puff has me flashing back to stressful 80s thoughts.

Nukes are so stupid. I was told they are outdated anyway. I heard that the us has “Green bombs” that are like 50x as strong as nukes but you can start strip mining your vicim’s land like as soon as the fires go out.

Makes me wonder why the nukes haven’t been replaced. They probably keep those things just to terrorize me and you. We know that if we survive it’s over regardless.

I'm just upset about realizing I don't even recognize Marvin Gayes face outside of his album covers.   Just watched some live vids and realized idk for a damn thing what this dude looked like if I had walked past him on the street. Anyone reading this should make sure they replay his albums at their next homie sesh

Think the old man got covid. He's a fukn machine so will hopefully be ok but is also fukcing old so who knows. Also whole family went over for Easter including a little nephew with a heart condition and me who's had some weird heart and lung shit going on for a couple years. Basically took ten people yelling at him to even take a test. Pretty annoying. I feel kinda sick but it's probably just because I've eaten a kg of chocolate and a kg of chicken today lol

Got COVID right before my first vacation I was going to go on in 7-8 months. Bummed, it was bound to get me though. Triple jabbed but this has rocked me. Woke up in cold sweats last night and now my left ear feels clogged...weird shit. Stay safe everyone.

About to drive an hour to my wife’s cousin’s wedding. I’m not against marriage, I’m against weddings. They’re in their mid 40s, it’s his 2nd marriage, nobody cares. Go to city hall like you’re supposed to.

On top of all of this, I’ve been waking up with a sore neck and a headache that goes from the base of my skull, up to like the point at the top of my head. Every weekend. It’s to the point where it’s messing with me getting through the day. I’ve tried different pillows, sleep positions, etc, but every weekend like clockwork, I wake up like this. I have a DR. Appointment on Thursday but I think I need a chiropractor too.

Cranial sacral massage/body work can do wonders. I've had herniated cervical discs and subsequent years of pain and tension in that region. Cross bite, teeth grinding etc. 4 sessions of CSM has straightened out over a decade of constant pain and limited mobility. Chiropractic is only gonna do so much, the muscles and fascia need to be worked out to stop pulling.

Hope you feel better sooner than later

Argg, my life savings is in an account that gets "decent" interest and the bank called out of nowhere and told me that they were going to close my account because they can't verify I was a resident of specific province when I opened the account.

Fucking absurd.

Me and half my neighborhood need to get new debit cards bc there was a data leak at a local store. Wish I'd found out before my card got declined at the grocery store this morning, but it's arguably worse for the tellers trying to deal with replacing all the cards.

I been having like 30 second crying fits.

My little boy honzo is a shell of a cat.

I finally found a place that would help me with the blood work to see what it wrong and I went in. They was like you owe $190 to the parent hospital of this program.

I’m like yo why didn’t you tell me before I packed the cat up?

I got mad again and started swearing. They won’t see me now but haven’t said that.

So either way it’s going to be like 400 bucks.

I’ve become a total weed dependent human agaIn after my dad died.

I spend like 3 bucks a week on it. My cat is frickin dying and I’m blowing it.

i'm sorry :(

if its any consolation, i adopted a ~5 y/o cat that had most of its top lip removed due to repeated infections while on the street. he started drooling more in the past few months and my s/o and i were worried he could have an infection again (he is an indoor/outdoor cat). turns out since we got another kitty (~6-7 months old) when we put her wet food out, the older cat just drools from the smell/sight of it and is completely fine otherwise. i hope your kitty's issues are not anywhere near as bad as you think they are.

Life is so fucking predictable sometimes.  I just got the best paycheck of my life after working a holiday plus a shitload of extra hours.  I put all that extra cash towards my debt I’ve been desperately trying to get down, just knowing some bullshit would come up and set me back.  Literally the same day my dryer shit the bed.  Paid a repair guy $100 to show up and tell me it’s beyond fixing.  Now I’m looking at hundreds more for a new one.
