Yeah its shorter by a bunch now. I didn't know all those guys approached it from that way though. Impressive! Basically they made a wheelchair ramp into the school. It starts off going straight at the three, like almost a better roll in for it, but then right after behind the 4 it takes a 90 degree turn and goes into the school. Its cement. It has bars going across it, there isn't really a way to get around it.

what about a jack hammer and some bondo? haha!

just kidding turkey.

Man, Wallenberg is fucking crazy. I'm surprised somebody hasn't actually tried to fix it. I doubt kids skating is a big enough problem for them to put in a cement ramp, ha.

Danny's kickflip melon was fucking crazy. Transworld's The Reason was a sick video.

How about building a wooden hump to roll over the ramp and get a little pump in at te same time?

Didn't Markovich land on a kickflip (to broken board) in '92 or '93?

Yes, same day Paez FS 180'd it. They were scary kickflips, catching them a foot or 2 above the ground, he landed on a few before his board broke but never rode away.

Yea, the runway is far shorter than you'd think, if you haven't been there. There was no ramp there that day in 92' to drop in on and the gate was closed, the only option was to push like a mad dog from the back of the "alley." I was hoping Markovich would BS 180 it that day as, he had probably the baddest BS 180 going at the time.

Wallenbergs crazy, but I'm just wondering, is it the longest gap that has been skated? It's huge, of course, but it seems like some bigger stuff has been skated. Anyone know?

I don't think its the biggest. Some massive ollies have been done. Its just a classic.

one thing for sure is that if your trying a trick down the berg you usually dont want to ollie it for a warm up because thats a feat in itself.

sometimes you get to spots and you d never skate it, but you still think if you did, you could do something. at that gap i couldn t even imagine anything- that s how big it is.
and props to jamie for making it look so fucking easy when he ollied it.

also muska bs flipped it from one stair below way back in the day in his transworld interview, which is badass!

At the contest, it shocked me that nobody ollied it to warm up except for Reynolds, and he pulled his trick quickest and cleanest

Anything, including an ollie down the 4 is amazing. I've had the pleasure skating it, or trying to, and it's big, and the ground is shit eating..... anything down it to me is impressive, but i'm old.

gerwers kickflip is so badass, in the fisheye shot when he lands you can see he slides backside then somehow manages to roll away.
