Well deadstock means never worn, so what would I bring the shoe box to the park to display for all to see?

That's a really odd looking shoe. The Zoom Tres are odd as well, but those look clunky to me... I don't get the strap at the bottom, either.

Not pissing on the thread, nor on Nike, but the shoe has always struck me as weird.

danny supa swears by them to skate in, oddly enough. he's part of the reason they brought them back (trainer 2)

I've skated a couple pairs of trainers, they are Suprisingly good. Not my first choice, but sometimes i just want to skate a trainer.

I prefer the non-SB ones better, but the SB ones suffice

no it doesn't, not always at least.

Old store item that is unused and never sold. Sometimes referred to as NOS (never off shelf). Often come with original packaging, tags, etc.. ...

but you are right, they don't make the sb trainer anymore, only the sb trainer 2. which i was referring to.

in the retail industry it means that a product is not being made anymore
but yes you are right it also denotes that an item is "new and never sold" I guess thats self explanatory if its being sold in a store that doesn't sell used items, which is every sneaker store I've ever been to
when I buy sneakers I assume they are new unless specified.  And never off shelf, I don't know what that is supposed to prove, I don't give a fuck if they've ever been off of a shelf, if they're new, they're new
and new items generally come with a box, tag, etc.
on another note my dog ate ONE of my "deadstock" sb trainer 1's that were pretty much the best color that ever came out in trainer 1's period
he got the beating of his life
now if I ever brake one leg or ankle I know what to rock

Actually that's not completely true.  Early on at SB, they chose different silhouettes as a test to see what people would buy.  There was an original trainer 1 SB without Zoomair as well as a little known or talked about Blazer.  The Blazer had such quality materials(leathers) that SB actually lost 2 or 3 bucks for every pair sold....But Supa has skated in them, although not very often.

Ummm, not quite right again.  The public should see a SB Trainer 1 almost once a year regardless of the Trainer 2...
