Of course Nasa politics are behind the whole thing.
NASA definitely has an unhealthy relationship with normalization of deviance.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of retarded kids and a van full of paraplegics.

i read that they were just completely misinterpreting 4chan/reddit's use of pepe as serious when they were just trolling or something which nullifies their whole argument, some people said the animations are worth the watch tho
putting a cartoon frog in front of auschwitz and have that be a popular image is pretty sad for the creator of the cartoon frog in my opinion

^might as well watch once bitten with james carrey too

i watched a field in england- it was pretty solid, some comedy, some true what the fuck moments, a little genre blend.

theres a psychedelic part where the cinematography gets a little jarring- but it adds to the feel of whats going on. definitely a nod to the holy mountain in there.

im proud of myself for making it through a b&w film and not falling asleep, usually takes me two tries for b&w. no idea why it makes me so sleepy.

There's a really good horror movie on Amazon Prime called "A Dark Song." It came out in 2017...it currently has a 92% on Rotten Tomatoes. I think its one of the best horror movies I've seen in a long time.

Loved this!  So many late 70's/early 80's vibes.  And Jocelin Donahue is classically beautiful, imo.

If you haven't seen it, check out The Innkeeper's.  It's Ti West's follow up.

Don't know why I hadn't watched it sooner. A lot grimier and possibly even more stressful than Clouzot's Wages of Fear.

Rewatched Gummo for the first time in a couple years last night. Still my favorite movie after all these watches.

This movie was really weird. Halfway through I had to tap my blunt out and take a walk because it made me feel so damn strange.

I could not get into this movie at all, fiest it's just fucking odd and I found Long's acting super annoying.

Re-watched Carlitos Way today for probably the first time since I brought it on VHS.

Yeah I've been meaning to watch this for years.

Pretty solid early Cronenberg movie, that feels weirdly relevant right now.

Continuing with the Cronenberg theme here

I watched the Brood last night. It was pretty good. Not mind blowingly amazing, but a good movie for Cronenberg fans.

Took a dive into Kurosawa after only really having watched the Seven Samurai. Had to rip these through a pirate bay proxy but well worth the hassle. Both amazing movies and visually stunning:

High and Low is amazing. Ikiru is pretty amazing as well. I'm yet to find a Kurosawa movie that isn't amazing.

This skateboard movie surprisingly isn't beyond terrible. Not my favorite movie ever, but better than most skate movies.

rewatched children of men recently. Not a perfect movie but still, very well done and it's kind of interesting to watch 14 years after being made and see some of the fucked up parallels in it to today's society.

One of Caine's best roles in my opinion, also one of Hunnam's only non wooden performances.

Rewatched Le Haine for it's 25th anniversary.

I have it but haven't watched it yet. Worth the time? And yeah I agree with you about caine's best roles. Clive Owen is perfect for it IMO. Another awesome movie I've seen recently is Hostile's. Absolutely brutal flick and really made me respect the actors in it.
