That looks awesome. I love Matt Furie's work. Here's an old xlr8r about him searching for his pizza earring. He's a good dude.

ah, the 1970s...nothing about the modern remake with ol' Billy Bob looks good, so i've never watched it, but i have to imagine it's not quite so...uh...rough around the edges.

i couldn't find a clip to embed, but a great scene in the original is when Ahmad walks up to plate one time, and tells the catcher:

"this one's for Allah sucker, and it's going way out there"

i always thought that would make an incredible sample

Both fucking quality films.
Buscemi is superb in Airheads.

I'm don't think I saw anyone mention Major League in regard to awesome baseball flix. "Are you saying Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball?" Fun fact about major league is Charlie Sheen really could pitch around 80mph so his scenes as Rick Vaughn aren't really all that simulated.

that's kinda surprising about Snipes tbh. I thought he was some sort of martial artist? Plus you would think he's pretty coordinated with all the fight choreography in the Blade movies. Maybe he jsut looks goofy as fuck while running

Re-watched Runaway, such a good cheesy movie. Simmons is fucking awesome.
Just begging for a remake.

Started Hobbs and Shaw, just bad. Bad effects, a terrible script... unsure if I'll even finish it.

Two of my all time favorite actresses, and how have I never watched this all the way through until now? Anyway this was a fun one.

Not an amazing film, but damn good.

Jennifer Jason Leigh, AND Bridget Fonda.

This looks great... I've never heard of Sightseers but the Kill List (which you should definitely watch if you haven't sen it)  was an awesome movie so I will check this out.  Looks like Dead Man meets the Witch or something like that.

Just watched the Challenger documentary on Netflix.. pretty intense.  I'm old enough to remember watching that in school, although we were shuffled off before it was explained what happened.  Quite a crazy moment in our history and really anxiety inducing, even if you know what happens.  Of course Nasa politics are behind the whole thing.

NASA definitely has an unhealthy relationship with normalization of deviance.

putting a cartoon frog in front of auschwitz and have that be a popular image is pretty sad for the creator of the cartoon frog in my opinion

^might as well watch once bitten with james carrey too

i watched a field in england- it was pretty solid, some comedy, some true what the fuck moments, a little genre blend.

theres a psychedelic part where the cinematography gets a little jarring- but it adds to the feel of whats going on. definitely a nod to the holy mountain in there.

im proud of myself for making it through a b&w film and not falling asleep, usually takes me two tries for b&w. no idea why it makes me so sleepy.

There's a really good horror movie on Amazon Prime called "A Dark Song." It came out in 2017...it currently has a 92% on Rotten Tomatoes. I think its one of the best horror movies I've seen in a long time.

Loved this!  So many late 70's/early 80's vibes.  And Jocelin Donahue is classically beautiful, imo.

If you haven't seen it, check out The Innkeeper's.  It's Ti West's follow up.

Fuck I loved the innkeepers!

Both movies are criminally underrated.

I think tonight I’m going to sit down and rewatch bone tomahawk.

Don't know why I hadn't watched it sooner. A lot grimier and possibly even more stressful than Clouzot's Wages of Fear.
