i'm pretty sure most tricks over picnic tables are done over the little kids ones.
[close]

only adult sized one that comes to mind is the one everyone skates out of that massive bump, that carrol nollie heel'd and bonked off of

and maybe the one that the flip guys skate in sorry, really sorry.

appleyard does nollie frontside flip switch manual, etc.

rewatched it and it's a fs heel over a table and fakie fs heel a couch.  i like it when gnar bars bring skill to the schoolyards.

Not a huge fan of this cat, but honorable mention for the difficulty: 1:50 and 2:00

The LA tables are pretty low, like barely over my kneecap, I'm about 6' tall, so think about it like that. They are pretty wide though, probably at least about 5' wide. They are pretty easy to grind on, but I wouldn't even consider ollieing over one on flat.
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”
I quit skating for a time due to piling out

Good description. Easy to grind but hard as hell to go over.

I'm going to have to disagree on them being "easy" to grind. I actually can do tricks over them, and I still don't consider it "easy". They are much higher than the average ledges that people skate. If you can nollie heel nose on a regular sized ledge, don't think you can do it on a table.

^ Easier to grind. Hard to flip into any grind in my opinion.

What is a "regular sized ledge?"

What is a "regular sized ledge?"
from like 12-16 inches. Tables are literally like 2 feet high.

I'm convinced there's no flip trick I could do over one.
I rarely venture into classic slap and the one time I do it I find a guy getting his dick eaten by a dolphin.

In '89 or '90 Hensley had a Trick Tip of a "fakie one-footed 360 ollie" over one but I think it was really just a cab.

Good topic though.

Brian Hoard did nollie flip and nollie inward (see Deca "Sneak Preview"). Anyone do a fakie flip over one?

i heard jess mcraney fakie flipped one but i've never seen footage. i've heard a few pretty crazy rumors about tricks he's done with no camera around
one-upping is rad.  so is beaming.  both so unquestionably identify the kooks...saves a lot of wasted time/small talk.  you instantly know who to avoid.

The standard little kids one's are in LA County (Lockwood) and are smaller than your average table, but I guess you have to skate one to appreciate how hard they are to do shit over. I forgot to mention Reese Forbes backside flip and Mike Daher KF. Also Chris Franzen's Sw front shuv is raw.

Chris Franzen had some ad doing a sw 360 flip over one too

I've never seen a picnic table like the ones in any video in person, I can't imagine how big they are. The normal wooden ones in jersey don't seem as small, and if they're the same size I have a new found respect for that shit

keenan's sw flip, tony silva has a nice sw heel in his 411vm part over one, the nuge's front heel or flip thats in a pig ad and in his foundation CA part. a few others, they're my favs, though.
