thanks! these were shot on kodak ektar, a fine grain film that has a very clean look. I will try out some reala and a provia next week, let's see how this works out.

Last week i was asked by my college to create some flyer for a 5-day MBA, i came up with the slogan "opening doors to a brighter future" and designed it around a picture of a door, i have now been told that the door was not open enough so i had to find another.
So i went out looking for an open door/gate where the other side was brighter than the side i was on, came back with this and am reasonably happy with the results.

the slogan reminds me of that simpsons quote haha:

Lisa: And I found the new Al Gore book.  [holds it up]
Marge: "Sane Planning, Sensible Tomorrow."
Lisa: Yeah, I hope it's as exciting as his other book, "Rational Thinking, Reasonable Future".

so, yesterday we hopped on our bikes and tried to explore parts of the city we hardly ever go to. found a pretty gnarly downhill-rail, steep, wooden, super rough ground. perfect for those guys.

turns out it also was pretty beaten already, not skated but close to breaking. the guys had the awesome idea to "fix" it by using a shoe-lace to tie it up. it didnt break, so i guess it worked perfectly. or not at all. i?m guessing seconds.

my man andi boardslid it, i fucked up the picture (its too blurry, i blame the flash, what else could be the problem? not me, thats for sure.)
he started rolling 4m uphill, no push, and still was hauling ass.

landed it, rolled away faster than everyone imagined, then got speed wobbles, slid 1m on his back, then fell down another set of stairs.

then it was timmys turn. took a few beatings, screamed around, then he did a fs boardslide. high fives all around.

Hey thepman (or any other UK pals), if you have any recommendations for must-sees in London I'd be quite glad to hear them. I'm in the middle of a UK trip right now, just finishing up in Edinburgh. I'll have a shitload of stuff to post once I get back, but for now I'll just throw up this panorama which I'm pretty stoked on considering it was an impossibly clear day by Scottish standards.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.
