Yeah, same here. This is the closest any major tournament has ever been to Croatia and I can't go for the same reasons. But maybe it's for the best, since the national team fans are pretty much clowns compared to club fans.

I hate having to stay at home. Like you I don't even care about football that much but I can hear drunk tourists on the street, I can smell piss and beer. I'm giving my support to Italy, but I don't have full confidence in them. Portugal has a good team, but I'd like to see them get knocked out early just to shut up all the Portuguese people that are pissing me off. I'm not even the biggest soccer fan, but I still get told several times a day that Italy is shit and Portugal is going to win the Euro Cup. Apparently, any time Portugal loses or any time Italy wins, the game is rigged. Also, Portuguese is the best language in the universe because there are no homonyms.

Typical Croatian style, no motivation against weaker teams and then 100% against stronger ones. Almost always do both approaches backfire in tournaments.
