Remember Orion Trucks?

Worst trucks of the 90s? Nah... that title goes to Kreper. I went through like 15 pairs. You can thank Josh Kalis for that. I can't believe they are still in production. Share your Orion Trucks love/hate.

I vaguely remember them but never had a pair.

I did have one pair of phantoms though...probably the worst trucks I ever had

I remember them pretty well, because I'd just started skating and was 12 or 13 and they had like the first page ad in TWS. I always stuck to Indy, sans a brief defection to Grind King because I thought they were lighter, which they probably were because these were stage 10 Indy's. But Orion had a pretty tight team. I love that pre-streetwear and pre-image era of skateboarding, but the whole TAP's thing came in right after that. Blah.

had a mad gangsta team at the time

kalis
chany
kevin taylor
dyrdek (when he was still killing it)

always longed for a pair but never had the money/need to buy them

little known fact: kreper trucks aren't bad.  one of my friends bought them second hand for a laugh, and ended up skating them for a whole year

bothersome

Wasn't Fred Gall on the squad, too?  If I remember right, he jumped ship from Indy to skate Orions.  I liked mine alright.  I remember my last session with mine was in the rain on a Phil Shao eagle board.  I ended up giving my whole setup to some ghetto kid I knew.

Even back then when I was starting skating I knew they were complete bollocks. Thought I was the shit with some red pair - needless to say the lasted about a week!

Venture/Indy/Thunder ftw...............

Sadly I had Orions twice and hated them both times.  The original ones turned weird.  But when the "Ultimate" or whatever they were called came out I bought those used off a sponsored buy and those things were even worse.  Did not turn at all even when you made them as loose as possible.

Tensors were amazing in comparison.  Turned better and had the sliders for mega nose/tail slides.

Sick team but I doubt most of the team rode Orions in real life.

Only Thunder or Indy for me now.

they turn like shit and that slider piece is pretty much pointless.

Up Trucks still get my vote for worst trucks ever.  i don't even have to ride any to know that.
