my one friend swore by orion for a while, but then he broke the baseplate and hated them.

I think Berra rode for them for a little while too.  I remember back in the day he came into the shop I worked at and asked for Ventures.  In my head I was thinking don't you ride for Orion?  I guess they must really suck then.

i skated them mostly because of penny back in the day. from what i understand they were trackers way of trying to stay in the mix of modern skating. the team was tight but the metal was bad and the geometry seemed off. i remember kareem skating them.
i broke a baseplate and traded back in for indys in 96 or so.

i never had them. cant say much besides they always had the loudest color hangers and my homie had them back when we were kids and he somehow broke them barely knowing how to ollie.

so i guess that explains them.
would you rather hear "woo" from the omar salazar pack? i wouldn't. their "yeahs" are genuine, and cool. "yeah" has been the battle cry of skaters for as long as i can remember.

tracker darts were ok trucks when i weighed 110 lbs, but at that point i wasn't really thinking about how trucks made much of a difference in my skating anyways.

they are super heavy but i remember wanting a pair so badly because i was really into JT's skating at the time...

i know people who ride orions and phantom trucks, needless to say i stopped talking to them....

basically i dont talk to people who dont ride ventures, indys or thunders...

ironically all 3 are made in the same place, but done through 3 different distributions.  the foundation were they are made must make a killing producing the 3 most ridden truck companies.

There was a Jamie Thomas craze around here a long time ago, and those trucks were wildly popular. I never had any myself, but I rode a pair on another kid's board once, and they were sooooo heavy. You could've bolted the board to two clay bricks, and it would've been lighter.

you can tell a matter of ounces underneath your feet?  amazing, you should check out these tensor trucks.  they are "ultra light" for "higher ollies and faster kickflips"

now thats what skating is all about kids! anyone who has different tastes shall be outcast! brown cords, beanie, blank white v neck tee and half cabs or mj selects ONLY lest you become shunned by the pack. And now only ride the BIG 3 truck companies even though indy is a mall brand now.
let his lesson stand!
