My GRE math score was so shitty they made me take a trial semester as a “5th year senior” to make sure I wasn’t a complete idiot.

The cashier at Chipotle pressed the wrong shit on the register, and I got $15 of food for free.

Ha, my parents and I are cool again. I’m taking non-degree courses at Stanford and UCB over the summer and fall semesters. Also, the pizza place off Amazon fucked up and gave me a 12” instead of an 18”. Customer service refunded my money, gave me a $10 credit for a future purchase, and made the restaurant send the 18” with 4 drinks. I picked up an ounce of alright bud for $80. Also, I cleared five figures in commission and only worked about 35 hours this week...don’t know how long this job will last, but don’t care. I’ve already been paid and have been good about investing most of it while not pissing it away.

Edit:
I booked plane tickets to hang out with my parents for a couple days at the end of the month.

Found out yesterday that my favorite band is getting back together and rereleasing all their albums and releasing a new one and touring. I'm so fucking excited.

Ankle is starting to have minimal pain walking around 4 months post break. Just gotta keep hammering away at my rehab exercises and hopefully I'll be back on the board this spring. I love skateboarding so much.

Damn, I'm guessing you broke it skating? How bad was it?

Not MBV right? They are rereleasing their stuff and have a new album in the works(although we probably won't see it for another 15 years).
[close]
Nah, MBV would be sick though. I'm talking about Duster.
Wait hold up where are you hearing this from??

Turned in an essay for class yesterday, went to dope ass concert and a friend from high school is in one of the bands so l saw friends from hs too, talked to and got the Snapchat of a cute girl I saw at a concert in October but didn't talk to, went to a chill party and got drunk and met a couple skaters, woke up without a hangover, and today it's getting to 29 degrees and I'm omw to skate with the homies

I saw your mom do a ollie to cooch drop straight down the big black pole, it was gnarly. she defiantly shut that shit down

just as I thought I had given up on making skate videos with actual camera equipment in order to just use phones and whatnot after over a decade of wearing my back out carrying shit around, my friend got his hands on this at work as they were about to throw it out :

condition is mint, apparently it was only used twice in 2002 then stored back in its box. now my inner nerd is all tangled up in thoughts about the idea of starting a proper new video project, getting a fisheye, experimenting with the settings and seeing what kind of footage might come out of it, it's a curiosity of a set-up. heavier than a VX (it's supposed to be a shoulder camera) but still pretty light. only bad news is the lack of manual white balance (it's just presets) but all the other settings are just fine, so maybe that will only finally teach me to stoo white balancing off blue shit.

friend immediately thought of me when he got it and gave it to me for free no questions asked. so stoked, I'll probably at least get him a deck or something.

I've been listening to the nine club podcast and it's been getting me really stoked on skating. that along with deciding to focus on myself and not chase women anymore has really helped me.

Stoked to hear that rib is getting better, dude.

Opted out of buying shit online and walked into my local for old times sake. Walked out with a free deck on the house. Granted the deck is a 9, but I don't mind sailing on this boat for a while as my usual size is an 8.5 or the next size up.

Finally got out ice fishing after an injury related year hiatus.

Conditions were brutal in the am, straight up white out. Could barely see where the fuck I was driving for two hours.

Got to the spot, wind died down and we only drilled 8 holes. Lotsa ice, 28" at least.

Caught walleyes and sauger right of the bat, continued for a good 6-7 hours.

Fuckin great times but it was cold as fuck, -28 in the am, -15 noon, -30 when we left.

Fresh walleye for supper tonight though!

I ran into a company called "Scram earth ski skatboards" and their edits on youtube are so refreshing; -no joking around, no ironic shit just reggae and tranny ripping.  They are the Alva team of today.

My wife has been hitting the gym with me for the past few weeks, stoked.

More stoked how quick she adapted and is not taking 5 minute breaks etc between sets, really pushes herself and has really good form for a newbie.

Her diet is awesome too!

-Faked a bachelor party with co-workers, and ended up being the designated bachelor and got a few free drinks
-School started and the more time I spend at work the more motivated I feel to push myself to get my degree
