Got a solo sesh after work today at my usual little ledge and curb DIY spot and chatted it up with another dude about my age and skated for about 2 hours. Turns out he lives like two blocks away. Hopefully this means a new skate friend in the future. They’re hard to come by as I get older.

but like not to get them or anything. Just to get me new shoes. On the one hand I'm glad to get new shoes but at the same time there's probably somebody out there fapping to me which feels gross.

Today I'm moving an older gentleman to a different facility. Unfortunately, won't have a chance to say goodbye to a lady I like because she works PM shift. So busting out a lost art...wrote her a note then gonna ask the am shift to give it to her. Feeling good about this gents

muscle memory

Hadn't been able to get my mind into how to land 5-0's since I started skating again last year. Shit used to be my longest, favorite grind. Got worse after I tore up my right ankle in January.

Although it was just on a curb, I popped into one and kinda stayed on. After that, it was 6 in a row, getting progressively longer, faster, and steezier with the shoulder swing at the end. Super stoked

gotta take it to a ledge this weekend
