  Ollied one of those big orange barriers out of a wheelchair ramp a bunch last night (with no drop tho thank you).  I haven't attempted an ollie over  something that high in a good 20 years I'd say.  Felt awesome.  Then I hurt my hip doing another thing.  But not too bad so that's more good.   I've been skated alrite and its cause of the indy to venture switch and riding regular boards again.

Haha, no worries I just post lame beats and stupid shit I find funny.  I do remember him being quite militant about being vegetarian/vegan (not sure which) back in the days, which may explain the egg nog thing. Or it could be because people put alcohol in egg nog and he’s a recovering addict.  I’m probably thinking too much, however.

Teaching my GF’s son to skate and he has lil kid Ollies consistent now, and can ride down a few ramps. He’s obsessed to the point that for two hours after we got home he had me play tech decks with him.

Got him a Manderson Krooked tech deck and now he’s a big fan of him and says Krooked is his favorite company because he likes the art

Just set up my CPAP machine. This is a huge victory for me as I’ve had the machine for what seems to be years without so much as unpacking it. I’ve done far more complex and tedious things in my life but for some reason this was overwhelming. Whatever, I did it. Now comes the hard part of actually sleeping in it. I’m going to ask my roommate if it stops my legendary snoring. If it does it’ll be a huge load off my mind for when I check into my hostel in New York.

Stoked cuz my relatives came down to the states for Canadian thanksgiving. Saw my sisters newborn for the first time and my grandma and aunt for first time since covid, which is tight cuz my grandma is like 80 and idk how much longer she’s got.

They brought down a fucking CRATE of Canadian snacks. Huge boxes of Caramilk, Coffee Crisp, Mr Big etc. 12pk of the pink cream soda crush (the fucking best), all dressed chips, ketchup chips, fuzzy peach I’m talking like EVERYTHING we don’t have. It was fucking sick

Also stoked on picking up my first father/son Halloween costume and taking the boy trick or treating. His mom got him a Buzz Lightyear costume and im being Woody :’)

Dank Canadian care package. My son and I went as ghostbusters last year with some hokey store-bought tent-like jumpsuits complete with inflatable proton packs. Had the time of our lives.
