The first 2 skate videos I filmed and edited aren't on my computer or hard drive and they're on a VHS tape and a mini dv tape only. I found a reasonably priced place to get them transferred to me digitally so I can have them backed up and then I'll throw them up on YouTube. I haven't seen them in years and can't wait to sit down and rewatch them. I'm sure the editing and filming will be trash, but I had so many great memories filming for those first videos.

Turned some table legs today after taking the day off to just de-stress. First 8 hour day of uninterrupted zen I've had in likely a decade. We re-insulated our garage this winter and it's actually OK to work in there in the Phoenix heat.

I learned a cover for my band. I never do that ever. It's sick though. Everyone is happy about it. The showcase showdown another emergency.

I run a  transitional living program for young people age 16 to 22 and I am currently trying to hire a new case manager. I interviewed someone who graduated the program about 15 years ago, today. She said, when she left she wrote a note saying, "I will work here one day." And the staff hung it up. I'm going to call her on Monday to offer her the job. This is the good shit.

Sorry for the double post here, but things have been on an upswing for me lately. Been consistently talking with a girl I’ve been into for years and things are progressing quite nicely. I’m not entirely sure where things will end up, but it’s just nice to have someone to spend some quality time with.
