idk what thread where i said 'joe rogan attributes our evolution to mushrooms' but here's a guy from washington state explaining it to him. my deputy beekeeper went to shelton, wa to study mycology under this dude and he teaches me about mycelium in exchange for me teaching him about bees.
did some work on our DIY today too.

got a free coffee at starbucks because their computers were down.

my phone plan just got bumped from 4gb of data per month to 5 with no additional cost to me.

sirius radio gave me two months for free. im not excited about the relentless phonecalls and junk mail im going to receive in the future, but ill listen for the next two months.

Manage to figure out a time to skate between work and school. I have a two-hour gap from the time i get off work to the start of class.. two days outta the week. There is a skatepark some what on the way to campus so I'm gonna start cruising there for an hour so before class.

I feel like such a fool that I didn't figure this out before, but i'm stoked. Don't even care if I smell like ass when I get to class either.

1. if you go to starbucks drive thru and get up o window and tell them you forgot your wallet, they'll almost always give you it for free

I'm stoked on Costa Rica. Most beautiful place I've ever been to. Found a property that might be the one too. If everything works out I'll be moving here (from Canada) within the next 3-4 years.

I'm also stoked that the town of San Vito is literally built on a mountain and connected by these crazy smooth curved hill roads. Next time I'm here I'm bringing the old wheelie-board. And THE WOMEN OMG

Honestly I'm enjoying my first semester of law school way more than I expected. You usually hear crazy first year law school horror stories about the difficulty, high demand, toxic competitiveness, etc. But I've been enjoying every freaking second of classes. Yeah I do a shit ton of reading, and I am a little worried about upcoming finals, but I haven't in the slightest been burned out yet. The only thing that kinda sucks is that I can only skate on the weekends now. I'm lucky to skate about 6 hours a week now. Up to this summer I was just working as a cook, skating all day after work, and all day on my days off. So by cutting my skating down from easily 20 hours a week or more to about 4 really sucks.

So stoked to see Caswell Berry's new video part, then read this interview: http://www.thrashermagazine.com/articles/magazine/caswell-berry/

He talks about having vestibular neuritis, which I developed earlier this year. Its hard to articulate just how debilitating that disorder is. I've broken a lot of bones, and been diagnosed with many mental disorders over the years, but nothing has hollowed me out like vestibular neuritis. The raw anxiety is like nothing I've felt before, and there's no way of knowing when an attack is gonna happen. There's also no cure, just exercises you can do to manage symptoms.

Though it hasn't seemed to affect my skating, I couldn't shake the feeling that my days on my board were numbered. But seeing Caswell still shredding in between vertigo attacks has alleviated those concerns

UC Riverside.
I went up there for the first time 2 weeks ago. Then we just went again this last weekend.
So many spots. There is something for everyone there. Every 1000 feet or so, I recognized something from a video.
Not a bust. Ran into 5 or 6 other groups of skaters while we were there.
Nothing is knobbed.
It's only a 90 minute drive from San Diego. And you go up the 15 freeway. So you are not dealing with LA traffic.
