got a few roomplants for my place that liven it up real nice.

Nice, little bits of greenery in a house really class up the place. I struggle to keep anything other than a cactus alive in my place.

Finally reconnected with a long lost friend and former Slap Pal over IG. We skated together so much in the 2000s and it was great to see him doing great for himself in NYC.

That is so dope man, its good to reconnect w old friends. Life is short so love the people you care abt, its always cool to catch up w people that impacted your lives. I lost 2 of my best friends from back in the day in the last 10 years. Would give anything to hang w them again.

Totally, he's doing good in NYC now and he still lurks on here, hopefully he reads this, shout out to @loophole. Been chatting with @Mongoloid outside of Slap and he's a rad guy, bought a bunch of his gear and just shooting the breeze.

I had a really good skate dream. It's been ages since I had one. I had a full on skatepark in my basement (not the motley assortment of obstacles in my real one but a bowled snake run). I was trying to figure out how to self film my tricks when my alarm for my medication went off.

I just found out that John Witherspoon passed away but was stoked that he has a number of cooking shows on youtube.

"You've got to coooooordinate" RIP

One of my best friends just moved from NYC to Cabbagetown in Atlanta with his lady. They're really happy there. To keep in touch we were sending each other lots of youtube vids and after I sent him Heath Kirchart's Stay Gold b-sides he immediately wanted to get a board and start skating.

Lost my tre flips due to an ankle injury at the beginning of the summer. Slowly pieced them back together over the last month, and they’re Kalis esque again. Too stoked

I learnt fakie fs heelflip

I meet and skated with some nice people at the shitty park close to my dad's house. Ended up giving my board to one kid who was skating the shittiest board I have ever seen, for real. He was hyped. It was pretty used and I have a brand new Quasi at home so.

I released a song that I really like and some people told me they liked it, I am really happy about that.

I am going to Venise tomorrow for 10  days to hang out with a girl I am kind of seeing.

I am going to live in Rome rent free for at least a month after that, maybe more if everything is going well.

My friends have been idiots and one of them got tested and was negative. Dude has been scared into being responsible and we skated today. We spent a few hours playing Skate because of the limited space in my backyard and because we suck. It was nice.

I'm a little over a week sober which I know isn't long enough to be that meaningful but it feels good and I'm sticking with it. I didn't even plan on this, I was on a little weekend trip with my girl and ran out of drugs and just decided to not cop. It was shitty for 4 days and now my body is producing it's own dopamine again. There are random waves of intense anxiety but that's why I started using in the first place and I'm going to have to learn to deal with it.

offkilter that's awesome. a week sober is definitely meaningful if it's something that you want to stick with and you find yourself struggling then there's some really great resources out there but also feel free to DM me.

Learned slappies a month ago. Last week tried slappy crooks for the first time and within 30 min got them
