Had a chain of guys working on BS Tailslides today at the park. I started, then my buddy whose never landed one decides to join in. And then another 2 guys who were struggling with them joined in.

My homie landed his first one today, 3 of them all coming out regular with a decent slide. The other 2 guys not so they were closer today than they have been in their entire lives. Taught them the secret of the nudge after locking into initiate the slide and to overcome the inertia when your tail first gets in. Good vibes and smiles all around.

Finally getting BS kickflips consistently, I do them in 2 extremes. Either dolphin flip with a body varial or a lofty one that I catch high, under-rotate and have to pivot the last few degrees. Was able to do them a couple of times playing SKATE. And just 3 months ago I could only do FS flips.

Shalom my friends and happy Diwali to my Hindu friends.

Fuck yeah, rocklobster!
Tomorrow is my first day at a PT in an upstate Sleepy Hollow, NY facility for the ankle I fractured in August. I hope the people there are cool. Medicaid is supposed to drive me but they didn't come through so my friend is driving me. It's one hour each way plus the hour of my PT evaluation so it's a big favor. I'm gonna get him a cool thank you gift. My ex came by last night and we exchanged our stuff. It was painful as fuck because I'm still very much in love and she's moved on but it was good to see her and show here what I've been up to with the dying iPad her boss gave me.

My birthday is on Wednesday and my buddy kicked me down his PS4  as he upgraded to a PS5, it's got me hyped for playing videogames again.

One of my job assignments was to hike our whole loop. Got paid to hike 6+ miles the second half of the day through an insanely beautiful trail system.

I always get a headache when I hike. I think maybe I drink too much water when I walk.

You need tot replenish the salt you're sweating out. Common source of headche. Chips or nuts is good.

My sister in law had her thyroid cancer surgery yesterday and it sounds like zero complications and she'll be doing iodine therapy. She's only 33 and my brother is 34 so to me they're just kids and I'm just really fucking grateful. Xo

I was literally chopping and stacking wood for over an hour before, then took a 15-20 min lunch to get out on time. Work has been a Rocky IV type of workout everyday. Today I ripped out all the plants in like a 200 ft strip in a couple hours.

I had an extended bout of constipation like six months ago (talking like two weeks, and I'm still not sure what caused it), and my immovable bowels came to completely dominate my thoughts. It was torture. Really taught me to appreciate digestive regularity.

Totally know that torture. I was on pills for an extended period and I had to figure out how to shit regularly despite being fully blocked up. I tried a bunch of stuff including Metamucil and laxatives but the only thing that worked for me was about a cup of oatmeal. Full oats, no chop, no instant. I sweetened it with raisins but you can do whatever you need to get it down. Plain it tastes pretty lousy.

Finally bought a new setup today after long lull. The board is 9 x 33 (popsicle shape). It felt so good to hit up a local red curb and do some shoves.

Hung out with my crush last night, had drinks with him and his housemates, had some amazing sex and today we got breakfast, went for a cycle and a swim. It's already probably the best weekend I've had all year and it's 4pm Saturday.

Also got a draft of artwork for my band's next 7" and it looks amazing.

Big smiles, lads and ladies.

I’ve been on plain grip for a while but this has me sparked to break out a couple paint markers on my next setup. Good shit
