Those are almost too beautiful to skate, love the top graphic.

I’d been dating this girl for the last two or so months and while we had lots of fun together, lots of good sex and everything... we just didn’t love each other or even had that ‘spark’. I think we were just seeing each other not to be lonely.

She’s an awesome girl, but truth be told, we just didn’t connect as much as we should have and we decided to end things last night like adults. Honestly,  I’ve never been happier about a relationship ending.

Strange thing to be stoked about, I know.

Don’t try to force things that just aren’t there folks.

I’m waiting till all my current board’s are trashed before setting these up. Honestly I’ve said this beforehand between the VX Flight decks I prefer these as they last a long time.

Went to the reefer store to pick up an oz and after the guy rang me up I was 3 dollars short. Kinda bummed told him I didn’t have enough so instead wanted a half oz n also some THC drinks. He got out the half oz bag, got out the drinks, then rang me up for the half oz plus drinks. Didn’t open the bag till I got home but was cracking up to find out dude gave me the oz instead of the half oz.

Front Crooks are rad, haven't landed one in a while.

I had my first concussion skateboarding on Sunday, was warming up on a game of SKATE, landed primo and bonked the back of my head. No memory of the entire morning from 7am-12pm.

The one upside was my homies took good care to make sure I got home safe. Even the park locals who I'm chill with texted me to check in the day after to see if I was ok. Stoked to know I got good friends in my life.

You’ve got good friends. Concussions are no joke, the last one I got two years ago fucked me up for a while.

I was walking around taking pictures of buildings and signs and shit out here in queens like the translplant scum that I am. Didn't realize someone was right behind me when I stopped and whipped out my phone, and the dude was walking pretty fast and sorta had to sidestep me. Seemed kinda annoyed. When i turned around to look at him, it was bobby fucking puleo. i got in puleos way on the sidewalk. made my month dudes.

great post. shoutout to you. I know that lingering feeling that it isn't right -- I ignored it for 5+ years in a previous relationship. it's the worst and the earlier you act on it, the better.

Actually I was seeing a girl for just a few weeks this year and had the same feeling, attraction was there but I felt like we were so different personality wise. I had the chat with her and it turned out she didn't feel that way at all, she thought it was going great, not a mutual feeling at all. Absolutely the worst, i felt so bad. So I am stoked that you both were sort of in agreement.

I’m just stoked we were both in total agreement and saw it the same way, it couldn’t have gone better. There was just no point to keep it going. At 32, I’m finally starting to learn from past mistakes, I’m done wasting time with meaningless relationships.

You’re right it’s so much better to end it quickly if you’re not feeling it, if not, it only gets shittier and shittier. It’s a lot easier to break it off at the 2.5 month mark than after a couple years.

First time I went snowboarding I thought it was exceptionally easy, especially after skateboarding for so long. Then I tried riding down a bigger slope and my nose got caught and I scorpion-ed forward, the board hit me in the head too. My first thought was that I was paralyzed, then I wiggled my toes and knew I was ok. I learned an important lesson in humility that day.

I recently bought these IEMs:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08DHTM4N5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They sound incredible as expected, but I always felt like earbuds would fall out and these would slip out a little if I reclined or lay down enough to disrupt the isolation factor.

I found out about these suckers:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08BRK3FKH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It really works to keep them in. No more slipping. Also, I lucked out and got a pair that probably didn't fit the recipient at a discount.

On topic, been skating my childhood spot a lot lately (solo) and it's such a spiritual experience every time having the empty plaza by myself and doing both new shit and shit I was already doing twenty years ago; one that seems to only get better with time, too. Today I even went with a childhood friend who no longer skates all that much but used to frequent the place with me all the time, too, which felt extra awesome.

Chill Sunday morning session at the park, usually the older guys turn up early before heading home for family time. Great mix of skaters, just enough people to get the vibe going but not too many that it was super packed. I tweaked both ankles but thankfully the Etcetera brace stopped my left one from getting too fucked and I've been strengthening them regularly so I was able to bounce back after 5 minutes. Good morning vibes with the regular, happy days.

I’m in that situation rn with a girl, I like it because it’s steady. I don’t have to put in effort and it’s not an emotional roller coaster, but there’s just not really anything there. Maybe your post is a sign for me

Got myself out of a heavy bout of depression by going to a contemporary dance class tonight. Needed to experience something new. Almost let my anxiety get the better of me but I cut through it and went. There's been so many times i'm at the door of a new job/girls house/show/gig or whatever and I end up turning back because my head is full of doom. Feels so good to win the fight.

I won't pretend to understand what it's like to be in the darkness and offer pseudointellectual advice, but I'm happy you put yourself out there. I think I would be frozen stiff attending a dance class, I'm wooden enough as it is!

The snow and ice have finally completely melted AND it's supposed to be very nice this weekend. I can't wait to skate. SHALOM.
