I found a local guy who presses bloards so I don’t have to order blanks online.

AD?
nah, this dude made a sick press in his garage.

it must be crazy when chico sells you something and the tables switch from "give me my money chico" to "giving my money to chico"

Vans honoring warranty again on some shitty ultrarange shoes. $105 to spend on vans but I just can't decide which. Love the pro models or sk8 whatever the fuck they call them now.

My GF is 4 months pregnant and we're expecting a boy.

Although I'm stoked I'm scared shitless and super anxious and my biggest fear is that I'm going to be a bad father

On the other hand I'm already thinking about stuff I can teach my son and ways of playing with him even tho that phase will take a while now

Thanks everyone! It’s been awesome seeing them play together. Really proud of my guy Biz for letting her win every play fight they’ve had. I fucked with my board a little bit last night before this happened.

Does the 10/10 pup have a name yet?

That's going to be one handful of a puppy.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

Using corny ass slang to mock everything all day long at work.
"Printing papers is a vibe"
"Eating lunch is a whole mood"
"this cig is lit AF" (making sure to say "Ay eff")
saying "lol" (el oh el) when someone says something kinda funny
saying "brb" when I go somewhere
"Y'all simpin for the customer on that one"

and also purposefully doing the slang wrong:
"this is not it, chef" (as opposed to "that ain't it chief")
"we are out here" (as opposed to "we out here")
"we are those boys" (as opposed to we dem boyz)
"alright boomer" (as opposed to ok boomer of course)

definitely also mock "clap back", "shade" and "flex" also
"Woke" I make fun of as much as possible.
On friday, bummed a bunch of people out when I heard their music and I walk up and go "this slaps... right guys? right guys?" as I slapped my knee

In all honesty, this is how I get through my daily anxiety, but it does make me laugh like the dickens.
I can't tell for sure, but I think most people think its funny. Although I am a manager, so they may just be pretending due to that.

I’ve been in El Paso for a few days and I will be here for 3 weeks. This morning I realized I hadn’t listened to any at the drive yet so I put on acrobatic tenement (best record) this morning and ebroglio came on. As it came on, I looked up was driving right past the Mesa street exit. I know how sad the song is but I was fucking gassed on the synchronicity of it.
Well I have like 9 Andy Anderson dated flight decks.

My new favorite one is "bussin" or bustin. It's one of those that mildly annoys my wife, so I use it when we're out a lot.
"damn, the bank is bussin today" = long line at the bank drive through.

The moment I opened up dating apps in Seattle I got a bunch of matches. I guess I'm just more attractive to people up here than in San Diego. I don't know if I should've put this in the stoked but not stoked thread though, because I don't know what kind of progress I can make here in less than a week.
Before you say the music sucked, have you considered shutting the fuck up?

The younger skaters at the park have been trying to educate me on their slang, I uses it wrong to annoy them. But I draw the line at the "Ice in my veins" gesture.

That is rad.  I never understand why bands with that kind of success keep touring.  They must have more money then they could ever spend.

I think they genuinely love seeing large crowds having a good time listening to them perform. I could see that as being addictive and being off the road being boring as can be for them especially at their age.

update it was great time. Even pre-covid I haven't been to a show that big in years

Yeah, that thought crossed my mind while they were playing too. They must just really enjoy playing live because it also hadn't been that long since Charlie Watts passed and they are already back out there

learning linux is sick. i'm fucking around with terminal commands and it's so dope. got my first python class on wednesday.

also made some good deals on bike parts. 20 bucks for a brand new specialized saddle and a tenner for a shimano mtb crank in very good condition.
