First day of school is done. It was great seeing the kids back on campus. For me it seemed less hectic than last year. I saw a lil kindergartener as another one if she would like to be her friend and it was the cutest thing I have ever seen. Im stoked for what the school year will bring.

also while i was on a walk the other day i found this absolutely massive rock. like boulder sized.
it was big enough to be as big as a truck, at least if you cut the truck in a few pieces and put them in a pile. it was pretty spherical, not very long.
anyway seeing that rock was pretty awesome .

got a jig saw from my pop that belonged to my grandfather. used it for the first time today to cut some door paneling for my van and also to touch up the kick panel i'd cut with a combo of circular saw and different hand saws. SOOOOO stoked to have the proper tool for a job instead of making due with a bunch of wonky stuff.

I haven't had as much time these days with 2 kiddos, but have been playing more online the last 3 or 4 months and have been been doing really well. Thought the board I ordered for my birthday had gotten lost in the mail after not getting any solid tracking updates since it shipped. Submitted a service request for a lost package and USPS found it within a few hours.

just realized I had a few pell grants from when I went back to college at 25 years old for my Undergrad . I'm going to have 20K of my debt absolved , with only 7k remaining after. I'm pretty much freaking out right now. thought I was getting the 10k relief. but to have almost my entire debt absolved is just fucking incredible right now.

Got engaged this past weekend.  It’s definitely a rollercoaster of emotions that I couldn’t have anticipated, some slightly overwhelming, but mostly very good.  We’re not in a huge rush to have the wedding, but know we have to be proactive and figure out/book things well in advance, so we’re already full tilt into planning it.
