in addition to standing for "Marc," wasn't the "M" originally supposed to somewhat serve as an homage to the 3-stripe of Adidas? MJ used to rock adidas a lot.

good point, i didnt think of that, but i still think it be way sicker of Lakai released this shoe instead of emerica. like the whole koston 1 thing. they should release the og rick howard dc shoe with the velcro straps just for fun

maybe its just me but it seems like everybody requested this a bunch, and not too many will follow through with buying it. like the person said about "people who loved it wont buy it because its not vulc" or whatever.

does anybody buy sole tech anymore really? it seems like only the younger kids do, and they wont remember the mj1 anyways.

i recently bought my first pair of sole tech's in a while, the eS square one krooked colorway, and i have to say i was surprised. they are a pretty good shoe but i think im gonna go back to vans after this pair.

I saw these in person the other day. Its a really nice shoe. I have not thought about buying a DC shoe in years but these seem like some quality kicks.

I saw those at the shop too...DC Howard II is my favorite shoe ever, but the new reconceptualization is too heavy...

The black 'Howard 2s' might get a look. Something looks off though. The fact the originals had no ventilation whatsoever is also a concern. DCs also re-releasing the first Colin McKay and Danny Way shoes.

I think these are an updated eS EOS -- apparently the riders didn't like the original EOS sole (I didn't either).

They have a full length g2 midsole.
Supposed to be the most foot cushioning shoe made.
Super squishy if you push on the bottom.
Well the brown ones I had were anyways.
I think I had some red eos? They werent vulc but made to be really thin like the templeton transist?
