Iron Angle
« on: August 15, 2008, 06:52:12 PM »
Alright, so me and some friends just built a box, but when we put the iron angle on it sucked. Its been three weeks and the thing slides but really shitty. We waxed the crap out of it and it still does not slide that well. Any suggestions as to how to make it slide better? I really don't want to go to the home depot again. Thanks in advance.

A cheap angle iron substitute is metal bedframe rails. You can usually pick up a bedframe at Goodwill for like $10 and get at least two six foot pieces of angle iron out of it (usually more). And it skates fine.

I used Bamboo and mashed coke cans for coping when i first started skating.

the bamboo worked better than the cans
