Haven't seen the video and can't find it so please share so I can actually have an opinion. My current view is he's gotten a lot of hate because he's always been an easy target as a jock which is fully embraced in skateboarding now. I don't blame anyone for saying fuck it when rightly or wrongly they feel betrayed.

This was right around the time things were heating up with the George Floyd protests. Biebel was recording some naked/confused/homeless Black man wandering the streets at night when there was a family with young kids nearby. He recorded some muscle bound dude beating him half to death while Biebel was cheering on with laughing emojis. It was brutal, the homeless guy was emaciated and had fencing arm after the first hit then the guy hit him several more times as he was unconscious on the ground. 

Biebel swears up-and-down he didn't know the guy who did it, but it seemed highly suspect. DLX dropped him the next day. It took Girl a bit to doctor up an apology for him which Biebel posted to his stories briefly and shortly after he posted something like fuck all you haters. That was pretty much the end of his career in 2020.
