I'm just glad the Flames are playing decent hockey now. I'd take one of their losses these days over their average win a few seasons ago easily. Chris Butler has to be the worst active NHL player though, Jesus fucking Christ.

The avalanche are having an ubelievably good season. MacKinnon is only 18 and a half. The kid is going to grow into an absolute killer.

As a Blackhawks fan this slump (the whole of 2014) is somewhat concerning. Kane not expected to return until the playoffs and now an injury to Towes.

Also Avs have 4 wins against us this season. Always trouble us with their speed.

Yep. I don't know what it is. My dad's been a big Blackhawks fan his entire life and he was saying that, especially now, the Blackhawks are a great playoff team so I hope he's right. But it's still nerve racking and you want to go into the series on the right foot.

I didn't expect a repeat of last season in terms of wins/streaks, but I also didn't expect the changes in conference and everyone else to pull themselves together like they have.

In good news, Toews is day-by-day and has some time to rest, so hopefully he'll be good for Thursday.

this bruins team is better than they were when they won the cup in 2011. That being said anything is possible in the playoffs.
