Yeah I guess Nixon sold us out to HMO's. I wouldn't want it to be free, I want it to be affordable. Insurance companies make a lot of money so medical bills are obviously inflated bigtime.

I don't want the government to step in anywhere preferably, but if they were going to stick their noses in anything it seems like health care would be the main thing. Health care and defense (not offense) seem like the best things they could do. I don't know wtf they are thinking anymore. I wish they would all go and die, including our new president

Canada have room for more people?

I am so glad Canada has free health care. I can't imagine what it would be like to debate going to the doctor or not because I'd have to pay for it. That fucking sucks.

might be free, but when you have some kind of serious problem, it can take months to years before getting any surgery done...

my knees are currently fucked, i gotta see an orthopedic surgeon and get an MRI. the earliest appointment with the orthopedic surgeon is in February, and the waiting list for an MRI is like 6+ months, otherwise its gonna cost me like 1200$ just for the MRI. I havnt been able to skate in 3 months now and prolly looking towards an other 6months off the board, thats why iv been killing the forum so much these days.

How bad is like hell :(

Physical therapy? What?! Can't I just exercise it on my own? I guess the doctor will say. I have insurance but this is still gonna be so expensive, I can barely pay my bills now
Hurt to the point i couldnt leave bed for a week, went to the doctor once to get my knee drained 3 days after surgery.  Physical therapy is crucial if you ever want your knee to be normal again.  I got mine done with the hamstring, i guess its easier to recover from then the patella graf.  you cant just ride a bike, you have to build the muscle back up  for 3 months before your allowed to ride a bike.  its been a month as of today and I'm walking around with a robocop looking leg and 1 crutch. day by day
