I don't know. On one hand, you were skating it when it snapped, so that's too bad. But then again it is DLX and they are the coolest motherfuckers around about shit. Email them for sure. They'll prolly ask you to send the board to them. Good luck

that always sucks. may i ask what kind of dlx board it was and how long you had been riding it? just curious.
KFC should give cockatiels with their variety bucket, so you can eat one bird and love another.

how many layers is the tail  through? thats what they'll generally look at first.  If its a manufacters defect they'll replace it without question.

if the tail is worn through 3 or 4 layers they might not give you a freebie unless its a manufacturers defect.  your best bet is too take it to your local shop and have the dude call for you and get an RA #.  then just send it back and youll have a new one in 3 weeks or so.

"i had been skating it about 3 weeks about 5-6 times a week. it still looks semi new though."

Unless when your skating that much your just pushing around, that is a good life for a board you skate 5-6 times a week for 3 weeks.

i skate 7-8 times a week, and i retire boards after 2 weeks because they are so soggy.

depends on what and how you skate too.
do you skate primarily flat? if so that really would be a weird break to me. maybe if you were going out everyday hittin' big sets or gaps or whatever it'd be a different story. 3 weeks=shitty, 2 months=normal.

i get um for $35 including grip..........so yeah, it's not bad.  but for most people they prioritize all wrong, don't bitch about your board if you buy weed, beer, and other frat boy shit beforehand.

^ not bad at all. round here it's more like 50-55 a pop with free grip. can't complain, though, just skate it till it breaks and by then you should have way more than enough to afford another one. but each man budgets differently so what can i say?

returns are only done if the board is a day or 2 old, and doesnt have scratches.

Yeah... shit happens. it could have been a defect or you just didn't land that shit right. Worth a shot i guess, I had a shop refund me on a zoo york board that snapped the tail off when i popped an Ollie, they didn't seem to want to though. Probably easier to just sell somethign for 35 bucks and get a new one.

That's quite many sessions for a board. Sounds like a long shot to me. If the board delaminates, ie. the glue doesn't hold up, it's usually replaced no questions asked. But a board that's been skated that much and it snaps? I wouldn't count on it...
