personally, i think style is a personal opinion which cannot be universally measured, which mostly always depends on my mood. i like watching duffel, and it gets me hyped to skate. whatever, i guess. then again, as long as your deciding your opinion over reasons that are relevant to his actual skateboarding and no image-related garbage, i respect your opinion. just sayin. i am bummed he comes off as such a dick in interviews though, won't argue that, really different in person.

He has filmed one ledge trick...and? I assume you mean combo tricks, that flip-in flip-out stuff. If that is what you're looking for don't look for it with him. Two switch tricks ever filmed. Not intending to compare style here but simply board orientation, it wasn't until the switch flip down the UCI 9 in Sight Unseen did Heath filming switch. Recalling a quote from heath when asked why he didn't skate switch previous to that he replied, "Switch stance skating is boring." Duffel grew up and found prominence in a skate culture similar to the early 90's in many respects. "The bigger the better" replaced the old mantra "the more flips the better" of early street. (Re)watch the OnVideo segment on the importance of style. The cream rose to the top in the mid 90's and cuts were made because it didn't matter simply that you were doing such and such a combo, but that you handled it gracefully. Being a pro is largely based on marketing yourself. Duffel is the stunt rail punk and just that. He is not an intelligent individual. After all, his daily regiment seems to be throwing himself down the type of stuff in his parts whether he's filming or not. For comparison, Heath has said he skates curbs when he isn't filming.
