I'm pretty sure the next one starts next month. The BATB has become such an important part of the berrics that they're gonna have to have these games of skate more often.

thought PJ had it in the bag, was really hoping to see a PJ vs. Mike Mo final
[close]

Up until this point I didn't really like Fairfax, but that backside nollie bigflip sealed the deal. He's got amazing flatground and I'm backing him.

If he could come out with a video part that was as transcendent as his flatground it would be epic as fuck...

overall, good times though...it's insane how it became such a weekend ritual. Carroll vs TimTim/Jeron/that one dude was inspirational...

3rd place game and the final were both good to watch, as was the competition as a whole. Berra and Koston are on a good thing with this.

congrats to Mike Mo.

I enjoyed every minute of Battle at the Berrics, that 4 months went by in a flash.

Congratulations to Mike Mo and Benny.

yea right that shit took forever and I'm glad as fuck it's over. There's no way I'll be watching the games every weekend if the second one drags on like this one. I'll just wait for it to be over and spend an hour watching all the games at once.

I hope they dont do another Battle at the Berrics; at least not on flatground. This was cool, but i think if they do it again its just going to get boring and become like a fucking sport competition. I hope the Berrics comes up with some new shit to fill the site with instead.

Billy Marks was definitely the funnest dude to watch in these games.  I don't really understand how any of you guys can hate on him.

fully agree.

He's one of the only skaters that can actually do battle to all those crazy tricks. Imagine Chris Roberts, Daniel Castillo, and Dyrdek play skate with him. marks would destroy them. Mo, Marks, Ladd, and Fairfax are at that level just beyond others. If there is another Battle of the Berrics, I hope Chris Cole plays.

something like 20 pages back, i posted up some battle at the berrics stats from the first round...some of you were psyched on it, some of you not so much...anyway, i've got totals up by skater for the 1,326 tricks that were attempted during the battle:

http://eightoclockthelightsareonatshea.blogspot.com/2009/03/this-is-greatest-advertising.html

at some point i'll put up some more shit about it for the skate nerds that are interested...

Just doesn't seem right for this thread to be on page 2...
Here's a little bump for old time's sake, Battle at the Berrics thread.
