to the best of my knowledge, its 3 discs ones blu ray, ones a documentary, and ones full of alt edits and other stuff. its really expensive.

this probably isn't going to be in my city for a while. it's going to be worth buying for sure. it's good they included at least some pappalardo commentary. that guy mariano clip on the main page has made me more interested in this than any of the other teasers or promos or whatever.

Sounds like a rip-off to me. As much as I'd love to own it, I already spent 30 bucks on the original, and don't think I'm going to be forking over 50 for the same video and its leftovers.

how could it be a rip off if you spent 30 on one disc, in SD when this thing is only a little bit more with 3 discs including the SD disc you bought and an HD version of it as well, and a book? sounds like you ripped yourself off by not listening to people when they said there would be a re-release of the video.

About the alternate edits, are the alternate edits like edits of the WHOLE video or just edits on certain parts? If it was the whole video I'd be stoked.

The only video that I've paid 50 dollars for was the girl/chocolate box set and that was worth it. It was 4 videos with tons of bonus shit. It just seems like final flare is just the original video (that I already own) with a bunch of bonus features that I'll end up not watching again after the first view and a Blue Ray Disc that I won't have any use for until I hope, next christmas if I get a PS3. IF it has alternate edits of the whole video like with different songs and shit and maybe some worthy of a rewatch clips then I'll cop on Sunday. I'm waiting for Watson or someone on here to give a review on the video.

Then on the same site I bought The Final Flare... for $55.00

I can't really get over that I bought a DVD for more than shoes..but i know in the future it will be worth it.

the mike mo alternate rough edit sucks actually. It has the same song from the French Connection's first part. I'd say the worst part of the edit is the incessant mid half cab/fs/bs flip slomo over and over again consecutively.

I never got the first one so it was defenitly easier to buy this one, and it was like 35 bucks with discount shit

personally I thought it was worth it when i saw beware of the flare, but the "hd to sd" or something montage was super sick, alot of the footage from the video edited differently mixed in with tons of extras and other tricks at the spots in video, with some really good new lucas stuff, Documentary is pretty legit too its like an hour long. other than that theres a bunch of other random lakai vids like the canada and australia tours. "alternate edits" confused me though, only alternate edit I can see is some old mikemo one? anyone find anything different?

If you don't have the ability to watch blue-ray, don't even consider buying this. The SD disc has the documentary, unused footage, one very shitty "alternate" edit, and tons of other stuff that's already online for free; if there was anything else new on there, obviously it wasn't memorable since I forgot it in a matter of two hours. I hope the blue-ray disc isn't as worthless.
