there was a bunch of footage of this contest on the first vid i ever owned. i liked hewitt's little wiggle coming off that five-o that set up the fs 540.

I was there for that one I think - lurking on that gap between the vert and flat bank. Funny times - tony hawk got someone to tell me to stop smoking weed as I was "putting people off". This was right before sheffey started smoking bongs, grabbing the mic and babbling incoherently into it. Funnily enough hawk didn't tell him to stop - not even when he started popping his head above the top to blow smoke at anyone trying the gap!
