Don't worry about how they look. Worry about how they feel when you skate.

very true.

A lot of ppl that skate ( i dont like saying "skaters") try to act like they dont care about how shit look. but truth is everyone cares. Everyone.

There's no curse, you're just not used to skating anything other than vans.

The vans I have right now are worn out as fuck, and I got extremely close to buying a pair of these today.  I was at work lurking shoe sites, and they were only like $20.  Thank god the secret code on my debit card has worn off.

Really though, as long as I have some chilling shoes to wear normally, I don't really care if I look ridiculous when I'm skating.  Regular people look down on me already for skating in the first place.  Skateboarders are supposed to like fun, I feel like they'd understand.

I guess it depends. I thought they were alright. The only other pair of Van's that I've ever bought were Anti Hero co-labs. But yeah, AV3's aren't extremely shitty or extremely good. They fall right in the middle.

How the fuck can you actually skateboard in slip ons? One kickflip and you rip a hole in the toe...

Yeah I mean my friend skated some vans slips at the pittsburgh park a couple weeks ago and killed them in like an hour sesh. If any of you on here have been to B-Cubed in Pittsburgh you know how crowded a Saturday session is and he didn't shred like the entire time. Bad durability, bad ankle support; long story short, While I love vans, slip ons aren't for me.
