stretching out shoes?

Bought some in my size but they're half a size too small.Any secret techniques for stretching shoes?I know it was a dumb thing to buy but...shoganai.

You bought the size you usually wear but they run half a size too small?  Are they too narrow?  Suede, leather, synthetic or other?  I think if they're suede or leather maybe you could use some shoe stretchers otherwise you might be SOL and just have to try and sell or trade them.

I wish 1000yen was $5 right now!  It's probably more near $11 US at the moment.  Hope it was a Yebisu or something you got along with the money.

i read in FHM years ago that you can stretch shoes by putting plastic bags filled with water in your shoes and putting them in the freezer...  water expands when it freezes, hence stretching out the shoe...

put them in the microwave for 2 to 3 minutes then put your feet in and theyll take shape around your feet better

i also heard something similar to the bag of water trick. put a can of coke in each shoe and push it as far down as it will go. i've never tried this before, though.
